Just so everyone knows this is NOT by any means dead. I have been having shitty technical difficulties with PCM but have almost finished the re-install. Also, school starts on the 29th, and I'll try to get a good chunk of TdF done by then if not have it finished. I'll also implement more storylines so the story can keep going during school.

If the DB issues are too much, you could do what I did with Breaking Confidence, (well before that broke again ) which was to start a new career, then fast forwar to the right date, and play from there, correct stats etc. |

Nah. I'm determined to get this working, and if not, I already have another story planned - although I wasn't planning on that until at least the release of PCM14 - assuming this would go on much longer.

Makes sense, sad as it seems, myself I have 3 stories, one which I hope will be BIG!
Already started on a fun little one as it's only 1 season, so I've written reports up to the Ronde
I will be sad to see Fabio go, but then it is also nice that you start something new, possibly even better. |

I really hope I don't have to stop this, and I can continue trying to salvage it as I have another week of free time.

So guys I can load the game now, and even though the db is a variant of Jesleyh's Realname the flags and variants carry over from the Daily Expansion Pack. Somehow it has stuffed up so the flags are back to their original, ugly version, but the worst part is that any variant stage is Plouay-Plouay. Currently re-installing the db, so hopefully that works and we can get back up and running within a couple of days.
Also, school starts in a week so the reports will come slower. However, I'll add storylines so we can keep going at a good pace

This is probably my best chance to win a stage. I'm not saying it's a good one, but the race goes into the mountains very soon.
A 4 man break gets away. Flecha wins the first climb, a Cat. 4, ahead of Jungels, Stamsnijder and Le Mevel.
Intermediate Sprint
1. Jungels // 2. Flecha // 3. Stamsnijder
KoM 3, Cat 4
1. Jungels
A very high pace meant it was hard to stay up front. Eventually it was just me in the wheel of Grazhys with 14km to go.
With 11km I got blocked in by Bouhanni and the rest of the GreenEDGE train. However, Virgilijus was still up ahead.
I got back and we started to get to the very front.
We hit the hill on the front along with FDJ. Jungels was still hanging on ahead.
Virgilijus couldn't find a wheel, so the leadout had to be from far out, and on a hill, that isn't good. I had to start early.
Demare took the win ahead of Degenkolb.
I finished a very close 15th.
Not a bad day. Maybe if Jarlinson was ahead at the end a Top 5 would've been possible, but I'm not complaining.

When I got back to the hotel today I was greeted with a letter. Not that it's common, but I expected it to be fanmail. What I got was a bit more. I translated it for you from Spanish.
Dear Mr. Melani
My name is Carlo Perez and I am a 9 year old boy, who like you is from Argentina. I have been following you since San Luis last year and I read all your results in the newspaper in Buenos Aires. I am very poor, but I am here in France and watched all your races so far. Great job sir! If I meet you my life will be amazing. At the end of the next stage I will be holding up a "Go Melani" sign at the finish line. If you see it please come and meet me.
Good luck,
Carlo
This is amazing. I'm going to see that boy tomorrow!
