So from what I'm seeing if we are to believe SKY isn't doping, then basically they have all the best riders in the world on their team, since lets not forget they didn't even bring the reigning champion...how much could the gaps have been if Wiggo was here?

I am so lucky that I didn't watch this stage.
And if you want to see the good side of it then consider this:
The tour is over, so you can chill outside instead of watching the live coverage. |

The gaps if Wiggins was here? They would be smaller. |

Ten Dam always has strong days in the beginning of a GT. He'll weaken soon enough.
Mollema is mr consistency and has been finishing 2nd,3rd4,4th or 5th in almost every mt stage this season. Only in the Tirreno he couldn't cope with Sky pace and blew up. That's when he started focussing on a doing long high speed intervals uphill to get used to the Sky train.
He rode his own pace pretty quickly today which was the key. Mollema will probably hold this level for 3 weeks and finish anywhere between 3rd and 6th now.
Well, that'd be great!

Well only because Wiggins would have been closer than Porte, who would have finished 3rd instead of 2nd.

Noone in the world will believe that Team Sky is clean.
When someone who is "supposed" to be clean drives 25seconds faster on the same climb as Armstrong, who we all know was doped beyond believe
Then you have to be a blue eyed blond girl to not see that Team Sky and Froome is not driving on pure tap water.
Also this is not the first race Froome has shown is superior force, he was up until this nr 2 in the world because of all the races he had won before this. When have you last seen somoene not only be superior in TdF but in races up until this, again Team Discovery and Team Sky show striking similarities |

Also funny, Gesink 2010 faster than Mollema 2013. (24:00 vs 24:27) |

As it was said in the article that Count posted in the Sky Hate thread, today it was this: Froome and Porte unhuman and the rest human. |

Please please....Can anybody explain me this? Is this real? Is this really real set that high pace at climbs? I dont believe... you can say whatever....But one thing for sure, I really hate SKY.... They absolutely destroyed evrybody...Another boring TDF is coming.
Crying seeing Evans dropped too soon...Expect from here really more...And where are those who claimed that Teejay van Gardenen should be leader?
Yes.I Believe it is possible to a certain extent.(Although not to the extent of Sky). The secret what I believe is Resistence Level of the riders.(the ability to ride at a high tempo). With the help of technology Sky have perfected a manner of riding at high tempo.Sky Leaders are always good TT guys.
Pure Climbers have ability to Accelerate but burn-out quickly so they have to slow down n start again.Sky just TT their way in the mountains riding a certain tempo slowly and steadily raising it and riding every one off their back.
I know the time gaps are unbelievable but it is the same when you see time gaps in TT,TT specialist always have good time gaps on the others in the peleton.
What I find hard to believe is that a guy like Porte who sets a high pace on the lower climbs is able to finish well ahead of guys sitting on his wheels.Truly unbelievable.(just as Shaun Kelly said)
Last year I didn't doubt Sky TDF performance that much as it suited TT guys and they had very good climbers like Henao,Uran in their along with Porte n Froome who dragged Wiggins to the line in the mountains but this year it just seems unrealistic.
Sky use the team to the Fulliest.Other guys have to do the same.Send two or three guys in breaks and attack from distance and use them to pace ur self to the final climbs.Attacking alone like Quintana only plays to Sky's Advantage as it is one riders against 4 or 5.

I think only guy who could have chased Froome was Quintana but he was already blown getting over 1st climb. Movistar used wrong tactics, should have kept him in peleton too.
Froome has already won this one. We want any other challenger, we will have to wait 1 year till Nibali comes to TdF.
I agree.Quintana may be could have stayed with Froome-bot and would have certainly finished ahead of Porte.

Tour over.Awaiting Veulta unless Froome-bot decides to do Tour-Vuelta double.I will probbaly not watch races in which Froome-bot races any more.It seems a foregone conclusion.

Nibali has no chance in hell. He's probably finish just in front or behind Valverde/Mollema |

Vuelta could be most exciting GC of the year due to possible lack of top names, or big names using it to only prepare for Worlds.
I'll be expecting this man to make his first big challenge for the GT. And fear the man who will be supporting him in that quest even more I guess ( so far if rumours are true ).
Spoiler
Froome ( as far as rumours so far ) and Uran will be repaying him for his work in last few GT's.

I keep on saying I enjoy sprints more than mountain stages, and all the time I get laughed at because it's only because I'm German.
Seriously, compare a sprint stage where you have 5k of excitement and you don't know who wins until they cross the line with a stage where you have 5k of semi-excitement when you only wait for Sky to drop everyone and ask yourself who drops first, and then you can take a shower with 4k to go without missing anything important.
The most exciting thing about this year's GC is betting on when it has to be edited. This year already?

Froome.exe raced the Vuelta last year as well, and he failed in week 3 then.

Actually, I kinda enjoyed this stage, with those early attacks and the peloton getting smaller and smaller, and dropped guys trying to fight back etc.
Of course, the Dutchies helped me with enjoying the stage, but it's not like I won't watch or enjoy a stage because Sky is being Sky.

Except now all the viable contenders are also riding the Tour, minus Nibali. |
