I have a question, what happens to 'real - life' rider's stats
I can't find it in the rulebook
Do they decrease? |

I thought they decreased in their best stats by 7, if I'm not mistaken. |

Attribute Development (for debate)
Provisionally, this is what we're going to do for riders.
If you read the rulebook you will know the multiplication system for development based on age. However, this part will go into more detail.
Based on you reports, you will be given a number of points for your rider's main stats e.g. for a climber it would be MO, HIL and REC. The rest of the points are given to secondary stats.
At the mid-season break (the break after Romandie) you will be given points ranging from 1 to 5 depending on the quality of your reports to be used on main stats. You will also receive 1 to 5 points for secondary stats. You then 'spend' those on your rider after the multiplication rule is used. You also have a chance to improve just before the World Championships.
Here you will post your race reports and will get all your information on recent news, races and transfers!
I dont get this. What reports? And what multiplication system? |

You write about the race that you want to in any way you want. Come end of Tour de Suisse they are judged, you are given points and then you improve your rider.
Also, for Froome's question. All riders have a negative seven on all stats for the first season. I don't think they'll age or decline as more riders would go out then come in.
For Jesleyh;s worries on development: I don't see why there should be a limit. If a stage racer has +5 MO for the first stat update their TT, REC and PR would suffer. |

Well... Take for example Matthijs Ruiter... He's a climber, and I guess his MO is by far his most important... If he gets 4 points, and spend it all on climbing(he surely can't get 5 because of the multiplication rule) His climbing will get 77->81... He would be enormously better than the second best climber, and that after 1 season...
Edit: Arghh.... I want the report...

Top MO on a 18yo would be 73. They get 5, put it all in MO and they will have 78. Which makes them closer then they were this season.
If you cap gains, its exactly the same. Conversly, you could match them 4 points in MO and 1 in TT, and next season you'll have similar comparitive performance in the mountains but take more time out of him in the TTs.
And yeah, I want the report XD. |

You are assuming that 5pts are given out at that mid-point
Also that all 5 will go to 1attribute, but the sensible person will spread them

Yes, but if your 18, you have MO 85 when your 21(and MO 82 when 20)... That isn't fun... If the max. is 2 per season, MO could be 85 when your 24(and 77 when your 20), and still you couldn't have developed your other stats optimal...

In my view 5 per season is good but it has to be spent on 3 or more stats |

I think that there should be also some limit for stats or all of us will have 85 overall on every atribute by the age 30.. |

Yes, i agree with Juan.
Put a limit of point to use in single stats for season? |
