Roberto Velásquez: The Story of A Legend |
Ian Butler
Stromeon: Thanks, let's hope so Wink

Daggen: That was nice, man, thanks!

JuanMotr: Costa is a great value to the team, my motivation to offer him a contract was actually because I'd just read a report from your story. I thought, if he can Valverde so well, he can help Roberto Wink

Jakstar22: He's damn strong. But he's getting older, can't last forever!
Though I'd like to beat him in his prime!

FreitasPCM: He'll definitely do it once, maybe next year Smile

francopell: His story is mostly about glory. But every true champion has to take a beating every now and then. He'll bounce back stronger Wink

fcancellara: Nice prediction Grin

Wild Dog: 15 minutes, now that's a challenge Pfft let's wait for the startlist, huh Wink

Atlantius: He's planned his season well, he'll have a great time in Italy.

sutty68: Thanks, it's not easy, riding against Gilbert. He's some kind of superman in these races, unbelievable Pfft

rogvi97: Thanks Wink

Tour de Romandie 2014

Tour de Romandie was a definite success for Roberto. He certainly got over the disappointment from Liège. With his eyes already on the Giro, he went home with 2 stage wins, the overall win with a wide margin and the Point Jersey.

Things were looking quite all right, for Roberto's first GT besides the Vuelta: his very first Giro d'Italia.

Good racing in Romandie. No screens?

Ah, sometimes simulating works out. Good luck for the Giro.

Roberto looks good for the Giro, even though it was simulated. Pfft Maybe he'll crush the opposition even more. Grin

Wild Dog
It seems like there haven't been much activity on the transfer/sponsor side of your game, huh?

Great win and now he is ready for the Giro. Grin

Good luck in the giro

dienblad: Simulation can work out great in same cases, real bad in others Smile I got lucky.

FreitasPCM: It's a possibility Grin

Wild Dog: How do you mean? The transfer period only starts in July, and it's only May. And I've posted about the sponsor a few pages back? Or do you mean something else?

JuanMotr: He loves collecting those Wink

Atlantius: Thanks!

francopell: About time, don't you think so? Pfft

Jakstar22: Thanks!

The start of the Giro will be either tomorrow or today. See you then Wink

Wild Dog
I mean in general. The other teams. You are in 2014 - normally there have been a lot of transfers and sponsor changes in the other teams. Smile

Oh but there are. I just don't report much about them as I don't think they're very relevant to the story, it's about Roberto the legend, so what do little transfers matter? You wouldn't talk about transfers much when you'd tell Eddy Merckx's story Wink see what I mean?

Daggen
I'm not sure that he'll be so dominating in the Giro. Again I think he'll get U25 Jersey and points jersey. He will never leave a GT without a stage win so stage win aswell

sutty68
Great result in Romandie Smile

Lets hope the form continues in to the Giro (and beyond) Wink

It's not because I want you to tell about it Pfft It's just when I look at the results you are posting... It doesn't look very different to real life Smile

Daggen: We'll see Wink

sutty68: Thanks, I hope so, too!

Wild Dog:Oh, like that Smile
Well, some transfers do happen, (F Schleck to OPQS) but some I stop. Like Cancellara would go to OPQS, seemed to unlogical so I kept him where he is Smile

Giro d'Italia 2014

Roberto had taken a mediocre start at the Giro. Losing a minute and a half on the first Team Time Trial.

However, nothing was lost yet. The first hilly stage had yet to come. But it seems our young friend was in luck, as he only had one real threat for the General Classification. The bad thing is that it was Nibali, who was just getting into his finest years of cycling. Considered one of the greatest climbers, he also had a great time trialing skill. This sure as heckfire wouldn't be a picnic for Roberto.

francopell
What are Nibali's stats and past results looking like?
