Cav in at 33'10 apparently, should be safe. |

They made it, with 33'10". The time cut was 34 minutes.

Yeah, like they would have DQ'd Cav because of the time limit...
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"

Meh, maybe they would, he's not gonna finish the Giro anyway. I wouldn't bet on it though.

This time I think they would've. When it happened in last year's Tour, he finished along with a huge group, but today he was in a small one. The 20% of the peloton rule therefore wouldn't apply.

But the "no way I'm DQ'ing one of the biggest stars of the race" rule would.

He'll be gone next week anyway, if not tomorrow. |

Stage 13 is the last stage for Cav & Eisel. That's if everything goes to plan and they don't miss the cut tomorrow, they shouldn't though.

When you have Contador they aren't |

Where was Contador in the Montevergine stage last year? Yeah, sitting in the bunch.

Tomorrow is no Etna. It's on the other hand very similar to Montevergine if you ask me. Quite long, but in terms of gradient, very easy.
If not a successful breakaway takes it, I expect a GC contender sprint à la Montevergine. I think it's too easy for Purito, so I'll go for Scarponi.

Indeed, Contador is a beautiful rider to watch in the mountains. He's almost always up for a battle.
But who knows, maybe Scarponi'll try to recover some lost time in the first week. |

You're right Scarponi lost a lot of time and he need to recover some of it |

I wonder what Basso's plan is. He must be in geat shape considering his team's working so hard already. And I especially wonder if Rodriguez could win this Giro, I've only started following cycling since after he was suspended so I haven't really seen him in action too much. He seems like a strong climber, but I'd have to see it for myself. |

You mean Basso, not Rodriguez, right?
I'd say don't expect too much from Basso until the last week. Cervinia will be the first place we'll be able to really see his form, as the coming two days aren't really mountain stages. Rodriguez might be seen tomorrow, but I still think he needs steeper climbs.
