Very nice changes to the shirt, may I ask who of the famous desingers is behind that?
Also nice schedule, doest this years Pais Vasco include hilly TT?Then David could do well in that case.
Good luck

Thanks for the reply!
His name is Sugar2, and I found it on the French Forum.
Yeah, David's schedule is really good I think. And it didn't take me too long to plan, although I think he will be a little out of shape for OHN.
Thanks

Almost missed that early-season-preview Nice new shirt for Sky and a couple of good races for David, too. Looking forward to this season's starting!

Tour Down Under could be a top10 for you actually. The other races will be hard, especially the cobbled ones.
Really hope you ride a GT. Tour might be too much, but Giro would be nice. Better than Vuelta imo as you can ride against the best in great form. Would love to see you there fighting for KoM or stage wins. |

Yeah, you always seem to be good, with when David will do well, so I hope you are correct! Thanks!

Its my first race day of the season, so I dont expect too much, but I still want to help out when possible. Its surprisingly cold for the summertime in Australia, but its still a nice riding temperature.
Early in the stage, Daniel Teklehaimanot attacked trying to win the KoM sprint. It seemed no one wanted to challenge him, so he took maximum points, and soon he was joined by a few others as the days break.
With 20km to go, it was pretty obvious that the BOTD would be caught, but that didn't stop Daniel T, from making a last ditch effort, but it was hopeless, and he was brought back only a few seconds after his other BOTD companions.
I was given the order to start off the sprint for our team. I started sprinting, but couldn't see any of my teammates behind me, so I slowly pulled off.
Cavendish, Farrar and Greipel are at the front now. It looks like one of them will take the win. Downing is just behind.
And Farrar does it! A nice way to start off the year for Garmin. Cav loses to his two biggest rivals taking 3rd, so maybe we will see some revenge later in the race.

Yeah thanks. I actually didn't do that myself either!
And yeah, that was my little hint at something that frustrates me about pcm10
Edit:
@ Freaitas - Yeah, thanks! I think David can do well here, but I'm hoping for a stat increase soon!

But there's still some good things in PCM10 Nice start for Sky, maybe Downing can do something more and of course David in the hilly stage!

@ cunego59 - Thanks! Downing did well, but I was hoping Sutton would pull through, he was too exhausted though.
@ tsmoha - Yes, exactly Yeah thanks, there are actually two hilly stages, as there is a TDU variant but its nothing too major.
@ Pelli2 - Thanks. I'm just hoping David lives up to this excitement now
@ Mresuperstar - Yes finally Thanks!

Santos Tour Down Under Stage 2
January, 19th, 2013
Today should just be an ordinary flat stage, atleast I hope it will be anyway. I hope I can sit in the pack for most of the day, although I might have to work a little on the front for Downing or Sutton, just to get them into nice position for the sprint. Other than that, no news is good news. BTW loving the weather here!
Like I said earlier, no news is good news, and luckily there was no real news worth reporting other than the usual, break -> stay away until 20km -> get caught. At this point we have 10km left, and I'm second in line, getting ready to start the sprint in a minute or two. Sutton cant seem to grab Downing's wheel so it will be for him today.
With 2km to go, I start my turn on the front and Downing is right behind me. It's looking like a great leadout for me, something I dont even mind doing too! Anyway Downing pulls out of my slipstream and charges for the line.
And what do you know! He takes the win. Cav and Greipel came late but just weren't quick enough, and so Sky's first win of the season already, and I played a part in it! So pumped for the team right now!
