It's really not a crappy excuse. I have the same allergy and it's really much worse this year.
Makes it hard to breath and exercise. It's easy for you to say, but I doubt you know how such an allergy affects your performance.
In fact, it's more a crappy understanding from you, than a crappy excuse.
I'm not a Contador fan, but I don't like how people who only love to see him fall react everytime
and i'm sure i don't understand it fully and i'm sure you understand better, although you may be oversympathising because you suffer as well, but you have to think that he would a) know how to deal with this problem like isso said and b) massively exxagerate. if not a bad excuse for his riding, certainly a bad excuse for failing to deal with it.

Strange to see Contador not able to take up the pace there. Astana did all the work - thought he would've been in better shape considering P-N.
Yeah, big boss was full of crap again, made Vinokurov work for him and then dropped. Vino looked strong and could have done sth himself, I'm not a fan of his but I it was wrong.
Well 29 sec to Evans, 26 to Sanchez and 19 to Machado is not impossible for Fedrigo in an 7.7 km timetrial. At Paris Nizza he had 33sek to Boom on a similar lenght. I think Machado or Evans will do it but i hope Fedrigo can win the race, would be good for BBox.
At Gent - Wevelgem (according to cyclingnews though):
Cancellara was one of the last riders to sign-on in Deinze and while he was still on the podium for a chat with the presentator the peloton had already started the race. When the Swiss champion found out about it he didn't look pleased at all and quickly left the stage. Spartacus was strong on Saturday but offering the peloton a five minutes lead is a bit over the top, no?
As much as I always big up Downing, has to be said he didn't exactly beat world reknown sprinters there...
Still, probably performed better than Isso would have given him credit for
???
You were suggesting he deserved a major upgrade on the daily DB on the strength of a result where he was beaten by guys who on the DB are far worse. I pointed that fact out.
That's all I ever said about Downing

you were also 'outraged' when i said that he was a rider in the style of freire but i get your point about the db
