It's a dangerous contest Degano and Leqautre already abandoned because they failed to break the record
uhm...there is no such contest this year, I was kidding. there was last year at the Giro.
Degano is still here, the tour site was wrong, he didn't abandon. they've corrected it now.
Lequatre was trying to grab a feed bag from the feed zone but it got tangled up in his wheel and he crashed heavily
O RLLY?!?

you should've used the owl
I was kidding about Lokvist. alex said he had a chance and I was trying to say that THAT competition would be the only one he would have a chance in.
are you saying there is that competition and I'm not aware of it? |

it's his third. as I keep saying, Induráin took until his fifth attempt to crack the top 50. (not that I'm comparing them) |

quite a few people criticise him saying he hasn't done much. but it's his third season. people have to realise that most guys take much more to come into their own.
just compare most riders' breakthrough season to their first season and see how many years passed
not all can win immediately like Gutierrez or Cavendish |

when'd he do well at the Dauphine? I swear I didn't notice any of that.
the tour de med he lost because of the TTT. and it's no shame to come second on the Faron behind Gutierrez who is very very good on short climbs.
the CI stage was amazing. he blew everyone out of the water on that TT. course record
also, did anyone just notice a hawk on TV hovering in the wind over the cyclists?
remember "Il Falco" is in the break nice coincidence... |

the tour de med he lost because of the TTT. and it's no shame to come second on the Faron behind Gutierrez who is very very good on short climbs. He also lost a lot of time when he got a puncture on one stage there

Yeah, I saw the hawk, the swedish commentators talked about it as well

Gallopin (CSC Sporting Director) : "we won't need to attack. the Colombiére's inherent thoughness will take care of everything."
also, Vino's bodyguard says he's been bodyguard for many many cyclists over the years and that he sees in Vino the same toughness that he had only ever seen in Armstrong.
he also said that the team were very down and shook up about the crashes other day when Vino himself came to dinner, noticed it and immediately started making jokes to up the morale.

gutierrez attacks and only De La Fuente can go. Savoldelli is out the back.
EDIT: this is frustrating...all three guys that I took off my GT team at the last moment are doing well well, at least I still have De La Fuente there...

they're just about to get to the steepest part of the climb. it's a near-static % from there to the end. what I mean is that the steepness is pretty much constant from there to the top.
