if I recall correctly, Quintana stopped at the top of the stelvio to change clothing. if that's true then everybody should have seen Quintana going on the descent. shouldn't that ring a bell that maybe he didn't hear that the descent was neutralised and alert you to follow

Final 1 km is more than 10%. Quintana will drop Rollands, I think. |

Excellent riding by those 3. Just got to have to say it again and again.
Uran is not fit to be a GC leader. Great TT by him, but it takes more to be a champion. Like pacing like a leader has to do sometimes... EDIT at least now he does it

Hesjedal and Rolland just not giving up! 3 of my favourite riders, but I think we all know who I'd prefer to get the stage win
I'm enjoying watching Hesjedal. Clearly been close to the limit most of the climb, but not giving up and fighting hard to keep up.
Quintana will win the stage easily though

Indeed.
Didn't want to react on it at first, but Kelderman actually attacks pretty often. It's just this Giro that he's really focussed on the Top 10. I remember last Giro, that he both attacked on the Galibier and the stage after or before(I'm mixing it up, at least he attacked 2 days in a row).

Rolland looks gone. Hesjedal also dropped but could still get back if he recovers.

Quintana looks like twice a climber than rest of all Giro riders today.

Man, this is a truly gutsy ride from Hesjedal. Clearly not as strong, but keeps fighting for Quintana's wheel.
