Ecover-Odfjell | The Other Teams
mvhoogdalem
Finally caught back up. So many wins and top 10's everywhere. Smile

nacho63
Yay Armin 3rd Grin

The Rider
Will be nice for the guys if the team win an NC where the team have the NC jersey already. Wink

-- If Phillips does become the new sponsor it will be interesting to see which Phillips jersey is chosen, maybe we could all have a vote on which jersey? (As there have been plenty of Phillips jerseys made)

Selwink
@Ollfardh: Perhaps Johnnie could try to hang on?
@Jesleyh: Both very true!
@mvhoogdalem: It's been an excellent season so far indeed!
@nacho63: A good performance by him indeed!
@The Rider: That would be nice indeed. Also, for the Philips-thing, I think it'll just be the one the game chooses.

i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag31/Selwink/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1283_zps8f92a050.jpg

Kristian is our next rider to set off. 1h03min12 is his time.
i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag31/Selwink/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1284_zps839a7409.jpg

Jonas is our penultimate starter of today. 1h03min56 is not too good.
i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag31/Selwink/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1285_zpse4d5e1a9.jpg

i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag31/Selwink/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1286_zps7fd9f8dd.jpg

Ásgeirr now has to go. It'll be interesting to see his performance. 1h02min09 is provisional second and ensures him of a top-5.
i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag31/Selwink/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1287_zps394e1090.jpg

Next rider is Wetterhall. 1h00min51 is provisional 2nd.
i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag31/Selwink/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1288_zps38f65b5a.jpg

i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag31/Selwink/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1289_zpsf4fc04ca.jpg

And finally, Kessiakoff is off as well. With the absence of Ludvigsson he is the absolute favourite. With 1h00min01 he confirms this role and wins.

Silferberg with a nice top 5, although far away from the podium. German TTNC wasn't meant to be. Smile

@Ollfardh: Indeed. Shame it's obligatory to race this in PCM.
@sutty: The result wasn't unexpected. Still disappointing though.
@mvhoogdalem: Both seem to be correct.

Only 1 chance for us today. Heiko is in the break.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1313_zpscc255f9d.jpg

With 35kms to go the pack splits. Hondo seems the biggest loser.

Bad news for Belkin as Martens crashes.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1315_zpsc5a95aba.jpg

With 20kms to go Heiko is the last escapee caught. Klöden attacks, while Martens comes back in the back of the group.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1316_zpsf00abb21.jpg

With 7kms to go the pack comes to a hold, which seems to secure Klödens victory.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1317_zps055dfd95.jpg

With 4.5kms to go Heiko also has the guts to go for a second place.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1318_zpsdec7cc98.jpg

The winner however is Klöden

Heiko comes 2nd.

That was a good ride indeed from Heiko Smile, but is it me or are those fans all massive Smile

@sutty: No, they're just flying Pfft

Race report

In a downhill Khieu makes use of the argument between Rusli and Othman and rides away, at 60 kilometers from the line.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1323_zps5888b255.jpg

When turning to the final flat he has a lead of over 20 minutes.

i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1325_zps2e32c738.jpg
And in front of the packed tribunes he takes a victory he'll never forget! While Khieu is resting the two others have to give up due to the time limit.

@SSJ2Luigi: Really?

Race report

A 2-man break today. Timothy forms the break with Maaskant.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1327_zpse58637e2.jpg

With 64kms to go, while the break has 3 minutes, a group of 31 riders splits off in front. Clement and Lindeman are caught behind. None of our riders are dropped though.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1328_zps9c012d7d.jpg

With just under 50km to go Timothy and Maaskant are already caught.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1329_zpse09f7d9f.jpg

With 40km to go Belkin tries a team attack. Gesink, Mollema, Ten Dam, Kelderman and Boom quickly get a gap.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1330_zps941327c2.jpg

Bad news for Vacansoleil, as Poels crashes just after attacking.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1331_zps7b4b1caf.jpg

Belkin's plan seems to work. With 20kms to go Boom and Ten Dam are still left with Mollema.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1332_zps2aa07c9d.jpg

Further back Timothy is helping Joep, who is in contention for 7th place.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1333_zps5bbeffa9.jpg

Mollema and Boom enter the final climb side by side. With a lead of 1min21 to the next group, with Westra and Ten Dam, it seems safe to say these two are going to fight it out for the win.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1334_zps17d0061b.jpg

Under the banner Boom has ditched Mollema.

i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1336_zpsa09f616f.jpg
And despite an accident with a car he makes it. After Ten Dam completes the podium Westra comes 4th.

Just after the final climb Joep jumps away and goes for 5th.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM1337_zpsfdc47c91.jpg

And he makes it for 5th. A great result for us.

Haha, that Belkin attack Grin

But some good NC's for us. A win and nice results in Germany and Holland.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.
