Ciolek is gonna be awesome - train him as a climber though or he'll never survive
A PT point= survival surely

A PT point starts the season off and means i don't get utterly depressed, so in that sense yes i will survive!

I have to say i dont think relagation is on the cards. A lots of your riders have come on over the past few months and i think you could do well in some flater stage with Ciolek. Good luck Rjc! |

I do love your positivity Karl
Stage 3
A "flat" stage which Ciolek is a favourite! But with his 77 fitness (mainly due to lack of race days) probably won't see him be able to compete for the win.
As we ran into the final 12km i was correct in my assumption, but Brouzes, still fit from the Ardennes and with an average sprint he'd be able to follow someone to somewhere.
Hushovd continues his form from the continental tour in Romandie and takes the win over Boasson Hagen.
Results:
1 Thor Hushovd CRÉDIT AGRICOLE 4h16'16
2 Edvald Boasson Hagen EUSKALTEL - EUSKADI s.t.

Stage Four was horrific, and shows why i hate Cyanide
With only TWO bottles, everyone would run out of energy pretty much, other than the few AI superhumans.
One of whom is Rasmussen. The drugged up piece of dog ****.
Who attacked for every KoM, attacked with 60km left and stayed away for 20km solo, and then attacked on the final climb and soloed away to a victory. Bl00dy ridiculous.
Belkov would lose out as he couldnt keep pace with the front runners.
Sanchez took another 2nd place.

Hahaha, i'm glad my story provides amusement. Just because we happen to be now last on the Pro tour rankings doesnt mean it'll be like that later on in the season
Stage Five:
A nice mountainous stage to test Belkov again. Without the pressure of favourite status, Belkov does better and manages to keep up with the front again, right up until the finish.

He's not French or Belarus.
Plus I dislike having druggies in the game...
Anywho. Stage Six, the final time trial. Belkov would have to beat 7 riders by more than a minute to climb into the top 10. Could/Would he do it?
The plan was to reserve a shed load of energy until the final climb, then go all out to gain back the time. It worked. Sobal was the first to test the idea, and caught his minute man at the top after nearly being overtaken at the bottom.
Kiryienka also caught his minute man, and as Belkov finished his time trial, he was leading it. Amazing eh?
And he'd keep that lead all the way to the finish. Taking home another 3 PT points. No longer are we at the bottom of the ranks (i hope).

Well, a top 10 finish without being in tip top condition DOES give me confidence for the Giro. So next up will be stage 1 of the 2008 Giro D'Italia!
