CHRISTCHURCH GRAND PRIX
Christchurch – Obira Heights – 191km
A group of seven riders currently have a lead over the peleton of 5m 24s, they are Rossi/Rapha Condor, Dupont/Jong Vlaanderen, Cassidy/An Post, Schweizer/Nutrixxion Abus, Jurco/Whirlpool, Watson/Team Jayco and Jones/Bissell Pro Cycling
The leaders are still working very well together considering the heat today
The lead has dropped to under four minutes as the terrain keeps going upwards
The peleton has begun to quicken the pace as we get to within forty kilometres to go
Only six riders remain at the front after Rossi/Rapha Condor mis-judged a corner and went down heavily, he has since been recaptured by the bunch who are now just 1m 10s behind
Janse Van Rensburg/MTN Qhubeka has made it across to the breakaways on the long descent to the finish and goes to the front to force the pace along
Reihs of Christina Watches has got a small gap of 27s as he tries to go it alone
He gets caught as he reaches the red kite
Julian Kern of Leopard Trek Continental is the rider who had the fastest finish today here in New Zealand

Well, after the highs of the last race we have now hit the lows of this one, there was not a lot to report so we will go and concentrate on the next race instead |

Not a day with a lot of TT1-action
Better luck in the next race

Always keep in mind: this Team Type 1. I think it's already a success that they give these people the chance to ride in the professional peloton, and that's already the biggest achievement
They must enjoy every day, results or no results |

Team Type 1 tenth, which is an amazing achievement! Keep up this greatness the team is performing. Even though last races didn't went too smoothly (with exceptions), the team is still mighty strong and full of talent! |

Legendary reports so far sutty.
Im really looking forward to the races coming up for 2 main reasons
1- TT1 riders should be coming into great form by now, so should be up there in the final alot!
2- The upcoming races like battenkill mean select groups will come to the finish line, which is really great racing.
I'll continue to post as long as you don't mind me spamming like this.
