Belgian NC RR -- Leuven
20 km left and the pack splits up, luckily VdB sat at the front when it happened. The whole Omega-Pharma team is in the front, so I don't think the group will get caught.
Gilbert attacks with Hoste and De Gendt.
Not surprisingly Gilbert wins the sprint, Van den Broeck is 9th.

Bad news! Voeckler still won't sign a new contract, so he will not be in our team next year |

Senoble - LOOK Squad
My Goals
Just as last year my goal is to finish on the podium. I also demand a stage win.
2013 Route
It contains 114 kms of TTing, which isn't a good thing for VdB. But is also gives him a position as an underdog, which can be used to our advantage.
The first mountain stage is stage no 10, which is the first in the line of a total 5 mountain stages. Of them, only 2 have top finishes. There are also 2 medium mountain stages.

Maillot Jaune Contenders
He was in horrible shape in Tour de Suisse, he must have been injured sometime earlier in the season, and not have got time to recover from it.
After the TdS he won the Spanish NC RR, and was 3rd in the ITT. I can not fathom how this is possible, since he was behind Voeckler in the TdS ITT.
Anyway he is always the favorite when he rides GC, so he is also the favorite in this years TdF, despite his questionable form.
Was my biggest favorite to win the Giro, but was no way near top shape, and his form didn't improve through the Giro either. Which makes me think that TdF is his goal this year. But I couldn't see him riding either D-L or TdS, so I don't know how good his form is. Other than a 6th in Catalunya he hasn't gotten any results.
If Contador and Andy Schlecks form is as bad as I think it is, Kreuziger is actually my favorite to win. He has had a great season so far, winning LFW, L-B-L, Vuelta al Pais Vasco, Tirreno - Adriatico, 2nd in Tour de Suisse and 7th in AGR.
Was a complete monster in Tour de Suisse, but may have peaked his form too early. But still he is a favorite for the podium. My guess is that he and VdB will have a tight fight for the last position on the podium in Paris.
Was very consistent in his performances last year, winning Paris - Nice, 2nd in Dauphine - Libere and 3rd in the Tour de France. He hasn't gotten that good results this year, but his form is peaked to the middle of July,
My last contender is Nibali, which actually skipped the Giro this year. This means that is top priority is TdF. He hasn't got any big results either, other than a top 3 in TdS.
***** A. Contador
**** A. Schleck, R. Kreuziger
*** I. Basso, V. Nibali, J. Van den Broeck, F. Schleck
** B. Wiggins, R. Gesink, R. Porte
* R. Hesjedal, J. Rodriguez, T. Löfkvist
Maillot Vert Contenders
Has been my favorite every year so far, and still is in 2013. Hasn't gotten any big results so far, but has won 8 stages in smaller races. I am sure that he will dominate this year...
Other than 3 stage wins in P-N and 1 stage in TdS, his results hasn't been as good as expected. But in last years Vuelta, he was completely dominating, winning 3 stages and was in the top 10 a total of 15 (!) times.
Other than a 3rd in MSR he has barely won anything, but his great climbing ability will surely give him an advantage over Cavendish
Not the best sprinter in the pack, but he is definitively one of the best riders to gather points. He has proved this in the last two TdFs.
***** M. Cavendish
**** E. Boasson Hagen, M. Goss
*** R. Feillu, A. Davis, H. Haussler
** T. Farrar, T. Boonen, D. Bennati
* A. Greipel |

Good point! I am also in the process of signing a couple of new riders who will strengthen us in the mountains and on the cobbles |

TdF Stage 2 -- Dublin - Dublin
Feillu can't get a hold of Farrars wheel, so he is isolated without any wheel to follow.
Farrar goes, but Feillu is being blocked
Farrar wins in front of Goss and Greipel, Feillu is a very disappointing 10th.
