I went on a ride today over the final Kom of stage 1 of the Tour of California. I rode much of it with world cup winner Katheryn Curry-Mattis, and other pro women from Value Act Capitol, Webcor and Proman. Liz Hatch from Vanderkitten was also there(famous for posing with Maxim and some very good results last season. ON the decent of spring mountain she overcooked it and ended up breaking ribs and possibly a collarbone.

I did an hour turbo session last night, the first in a week because I've been really sick after a two hour ride I did outside. Even just an hour hurt like hell after a week of....

I was so good today, I just rode away from everyone too. They did happen to turn off the road I was on... I put it down to being scared of my might.

I'm feeling massively unfit. Or it could be because I'm battering myself on the bike and in the gym. Who knows. Don't think I'll start racing now until late March, maybe even April.

Nice to hear about cycling.... Here it's snowing like hell, just today it have fallen about 20 cm, and it will continue to snow out the week.... No cycling for me.. Sad

I've cycled for 20 km yesterday and it was quite good conditions here, even though it is snow here, it's not to much and since it's not to icy anymore it's better since the last two-tree weeks. Smile

You are considerably younger than me, and so I doubt it'd be a fair competition.

I don't doubt it right about now. Lets just say that before I could ride my bike today, i had to (link by link) unsolidify my chain from it's rusted state. Possibly why I feel so shite all the time... ah well.

I can't ride my bike at all (except on the trainer) until Wendsday because of road closures and traffic jams (Inauguration in two days)

Oh, and Wacko, I'm the one who doesn't have "Jacko" in their name

Turbo sessions are the best way to get fit quick.

Yeah, if you do them really hard. Since it's about two months till the snow will be gone, I do just one really hard session in a week. The second and last session on bike is strength (on turbo, for the legs, don't know what it is in English, styrketråkk in Norwegian). The rest five sessions are running or cross country skiing, and of course strength training.

Now i want to get 5 turbo sessions in a week.
