If you look at his values during the year up to the Tour, the reticulocyte values are pretty much what you would expect, around 1%.
There are analytical variations and biological variations to that parameter as for any other parameter.
Then at the beginning of the Tour, it's half, .5%, which is producing half the red blood cells that you would expect. The reason why you get a decrease in your reticulocyte values is when you have an increased amount of hemoglobin. Your body does not have to produce as much as usual.
In layman's terms, Morkreberg is "saying without saying" that not only Armstrong's haematocrit indicates blood doping, but that the variation of his reticulocytes on the eve of the Tour indicates a blood transfusion on the eve of the prologue.

mikel Astarloza's B sample came back positive for EPO. Looks like a two year ban but Euskatel are fighting to prove his innonce. Im very dissapointed in Astarloza as I looked up to the guy as an personal idol. But when he returns if he returns to racing after his ban I will get back behind him. |

He will likely get one of the shiny new 4 year bans that are finally allowed this year

Freire will retire at the end of next season.
Too bad he's always injured at the worlds. He could've beaten the record for World Championship wins if he'd won one more time. But since his last win in 2004 he didn't participate through injury in 2005, 2006 and 2007, in 2008 he rode injured, so didn't have a chance, and this year he no longer "has it".
He's clearly past it.

..And how many footballers have been caught doping?
Exactly..
Now the never ending case of Valv.Piti doesn't seem to be close to ending yet, he's cleared to ride the rest of the season.
Previously on "The piti case"
As the spanish cycling federation won't open proceedings, WADA and UCI filed an appeal to get the proceedings began..
*new episode*
CAS won't even begin to look at this case until the end of october. CAS said they would like to begin around the Giro di Lombaria race.
CAS will have to re-examine all evidence as the trial is different.
Hopefully Valverde won't win the Vuelta or the Worlds, it would be a disaster.

Armstrong has answered to the accusations, saying that neither he or his team ever tested positive.
Back in the days, Riis said the same.
So did Hamburger. And Theunisse. And Rooks. And Fignon. And Maertens. And Ducrot. And Winnen. And Moser. And Beckman. And Emery. And Hegg. And McDonough. And Nitz. And Twigg. And Whitehead. And Aldag. And Zabel. And Henn. And Holm. And Simeoni. And Dietz. And Bölts. And Bouvard. And Magnien. And Hervé. And Leblanc. And Pedersen. And Virenque. And Zülle. And Andreu. And Mondini. . And .....

Shall I continue to list dozens more that never tested positive, swore their innocence and were later proven to be doping during their entire careers?

Ill give it four years before Armstrong is finally outed by someone he trusts and he will be forced to admit
He already was by Jonathan Vaughters, Frankie Andreu, Mike Anderson and Emma O'Reilly. He denied it every time and the UCI always refused to investigate every time.
Why do you always think that when people dope, they dope during their whole career? Just curious.
For example the Contador case. I mean, Fuentes is gone long ago. Chances are he found a new doctor, but pointing at Fuentes to prove (or to accuse if you want) Contador doped during the Tour of 2009 is a bit of nonsense I think.
About those '80 guys, they didn't dope. Well, they did, but they didn't use illegal substances. It simply wasn't illegal, so you can't blame the riders for anything. And so, when the dopingquestion is asked to them, no is the only right answer... |

Remember when a while ago I told you I wasn't answering any of your arguments ever again because you constantly spout complete lies?
That post shows you haven't changed. The "wasn't illegal" thing is especially funny

Being no expert on the medical analysis of test results, I was interested to read the data, which you can see at the link.
https://cdn-community2.livestrong.com/...4.Full.jpg
Two things I'd like to see.
1. An explanation from Armstrong better than the hogswash Daamsgaard is spouting.
2. Similar data from other riders in the Tour Top 20. |

The only other rider giving out values is Basso, and his are normal. |
