Why doesn't it work, can't you select the team? That would be easy to fix, just edit your team to be similar like a team you can select. |

hi,
could someone give me some info about how can i convert a savegame into database that can be used to play custom tours?
i've tried to use the savegame as a db but then i can't control the team i'm playing in the career, so which tables should i import from the savegame to the original db which the savegame is based on to be able to play it in single race or stage race mode?
If you copy DYN_cyclist from the save game to the DB, my guess is that it'll work just fine. |

Unless it is a custom team, not? |

If it's a custom team, you'll need to copy DYN_team too. |

I'd advice you to have two separate installs: One for the PPDB, one for Daily's DB. |

May I ask why? Stability?
And what to do about limited activations? |

Why? Because many of the files have the same names and therefore will overwrite 'each other', and that may screw something up.
Activation-wise, I have a clean install of PCM on my computer. When I install a DB, I make a copy of that folder and install the DB to that folder. It doesn't take up an activation. |

Sorry for the remedial questions but when you say clean install would my original install be "clean" or shold I use an activation to have a clean install because that would have no save games associated with it?
Thanks for all your help by the way. |

An original installation with no DBs installed is a clean install, yes. So if you have one, make a copy of it and install the DB to this folder. Should you want to use another DB, e.g. a historical DB, alongside the other DB, make another copy and install the DB to that folder - etc., etc. |
