I played Milan-San Remo with Sky, Boasson Hagen had a +5 day and I managed to win it with 3 mins advantage, Flecha 8th, Arvesen 9th. And then my computer crashes when the last rider to finish (40 mins after EBH) had just 200 metres left!
If the computer crashed 10 seconds later, the race would have been finished...
I never played with this savegame since then

Here is a little frustration story with a twist ending...
Paris-Roubaix (naturally)
I had a perfect lineup, as I marked this as my top priority. Everything going to plan, with 1 of my 2 men sent on the initial breakaway ahead of the pack (1 crashed, but the other continued on), and plenty of teammates around my captain.
With 45km to go, my Captain punctures, and of course Boonen and Cancellara take off right at that moment. Game over man!
Except my little domestique that could had 5 minutes of cushion still (never happened to me before on P-R), and stayed away to win! (!!!!!!)
I rode Milan.San Remo with Ciolek and Haussler. Both with 82 sprint and 75/77 hill.(PcmDaily) Both of them were definitly top favourites for the win. After the first hill the game crashed. This also happened the next 5 trys, always on different points. So i had to simulate and became 10th and 54th... Damn simulating.
17th stage of TDF, riding with contador, had a 7min advantage over A.Shleck and menchov. My mum walks in and switches of the computer without closing the game! corrupted the file. Hows that for frustrating
Some random stage in the Eneco Tour. My sprinter (Rojas) is following someone in the front. We start sprinting and somewhere in the last 2 km's he just seems to be standing still. Everybody is moving past him, really fast, despite the statistics saying he's sprinting 53 km/h while they are only sprinting at 50-51 km/h.
Next stage, exactly the same thing. Some kind of random accordeon affect in a turn leading to the final 1,5 km resulting in everyone slowing down until you have a compact ball of the peloton and while everyone else who was at the front progresses normally after the turn, he seems to be stuck to the road in that turn despite the statistics saying once again he's riding faster than all the others around him. He finished behind teammates who didn't sprint! (and yes, his energy bars and fitness and stuff was very high)
Very strange, very frustrating because he had good chances to finish well.
I have had two "fantastic" moments in my first season of a new carreer with Saxo Bank. First in the Giro Richie Porte has ridden a great prologue, the team a decent TTT. In the first mountain stage I am pacing Porte up the slope and he seems to be minimizing the loss just enough to get a few days in pink. Then on the last KM in an uphill sprint he crashes. Solo! Uphill... And he looses more than a minute then and there and all hopes of a couple of stages in the spotlight.
Then in the Tour Andy Schleck has been fighting a loosing battle against Contador in the mountains. As in real life he is second after Tourmalet and is looking at a podium finish and the white jersey. That is until he crashes on the flat stage to Bordeaux. Broken wrist and bye bye podium. Only positive is that Fränk took 6th...
