British media? Not worth a penny.
Not because they were "wrong", but because they don't stick to their opinion (or seemingly base their opinion from week to week, like politicians ).
So, instead of the Bendtner bashing/praising, let me point out the true profile of the match: Arshavin! |

No.
Let me point out the REAL profile of the match.
Coach who always plays the same eleven players , in the same exact system until they're all dead. Except when a big away CL game happens.
At that point he ALWAYS decides to change everything around, putting the players in a system they're not used to, and playing guys who haven't played in months.
In 3 years, it's never worked once. In fact, not once has it not been catastrophic.
Yet he still does it. every time.
And that's why Porto are so awful away compared to home games. Because the idiot has the tactical ability of Harry Redknapp. (Read: of a dead newt)

Two tap-ins and a penalty do not a good striker make
And @issoisso - that's very harsh on the dead newt community

Amen
He tries to play the catenaccio every team he faces a strong opposition away and he always fails ridiculously... and what's with putting a rookie in the starting eleven in such a precious position as DMF?
Next Porto coach should better grow some balls

No but someone who can score tap ins is exactly what Arsenal needs.

I was pleased to see two Dutch players save Bayern Munich's ass yesterday against Fiorentina. |

More importantly - 15 minutes left, Lyon has just equalised!
1-2 total. |

Yes, but it's way more than we expected, especially after Saturday, and shows that that was hopefully a blip. |

Unless you've been watching a completely different player to me, Porto was definitely the exception for him

Agreed. It's excellent to see Madrid lose
Now, let's hope that Barcelona reaches the final at Bernabeu. Now, that'd be fun

Before the Burnel match he'd scored 3 in 3 for club and country. I honestly think he just need sustained confidence, and hopefully that has arrived. |

That would be bad for Germany ´cause they have to win against Stuttgart first next week |

F*ck yeah!! Real's out!! Mwahahaha 300 million euros directly sent to the garbage. Now I want Ferguson winning the final in Madrid. That'd be too awesome.
Too bad that Valencia usually doesn't let me enjoy this moments and always loses the next match. |

A tad too late to comment on Lyon-Real, but what a match, and what a waste for Mr "94millioncheque" Florentino
Really great to see Lyon qualifying for quarters the only year they don't dominate the championship.
Too bad Lisandro and Delgado missed the opportunities for big win in Madrid.
And now, as said Lyon's president : "hope we'll be back in Bernabéu in May" |
