Isn't he named Lucas Haedo or is that someone else?

Lucas SebastiƔn Haedo. So, Lucas is his proper name, yes.
Otherwise it's like saying Lance Edward Armstrong: accurate but pointless |

Gesink: "Vandaag 7u getraind met de bernina, forcola, foscagno, stelvio, terug tot de umbrail en dan nog de offenpass. 188km,mijn langste training ooit!"
He did a 7 hour training including the bernina, forcola, foscagno, stelvio and offenpass... |

I'd love to see Gesink do very well here. He's had his share of bad luck.

Damn Vuelta organisers, only release the profiles of mountain stages :\
Let me guess: you don't have PCM09?
I have, and i know the profiles, but they release in proper dimensions the mountain stage profiles. The others are still in tiny size.

Jakob Fuglsang will be the leader of Team Saxo Bank. But the interesting part is that he'll have some pretty strong helpers: Andy Schleck and Frank Schleck.
Cancellara, Kroon, Kolobnev, O'Grady will also be there. The two last spots are still yet to be decided, I guess. |

Maybe I dont know details..but I belive if Schlecks are riding they wont be just helpers for Fuglsang (Btw I like Fuglsang...my favorite Saxo rider)

Taken from a danish article ...Translated quote from Fuglsang "Looks like I'm gonna be the GC rider in the Vuelta. I'll have great help from the Schlecks..." |

The Schlecks always say that they are riding the Vuelta, but then end up not starting because of "tired legs"
We will see what happens...
EDIT: If they ride though, then Saxo Bank will have a real strong team with The Schlecks, Cancellara, Fuglesang, Arvesen, O'Grady, Kolobnev and Kroon...
EDIT: Matti most likely ride since he didn't get his Tour...

Anyway, don't expect the Schlecks to be up there on GC. Andy has a very short window of top form, which is unusual (I have my theory on that, but that's a different matter), and thus since he's aiming for the Worlds, he won't be good at the Vuelta.
While Frank is quite the opposite, but he's got a knee injury, which is quite likely to screw up his Vuelta, or even the entire remaining season. |

Yeah. According to Riis (or maybe Andersen, don't remember), F. Schleck continually complained about his knee during the Tour, saying he wanted to withdraw. They kept convincing him to continue.
Making him ride the Vuelta can only worsen that, I guess. |

Great to see my old buddy Jakob as captain in a GT... Not that long ago since I spoke with him and told him I thought he should go for podium at the Vuelta before trying the other 2 :-p |

It's easy for me to say as I sit here on my fat ass, but for a top level athlete that guy does not seem very strong mentally. |

Mental strength is often lacking in top atheletes, just like the rest of the population i guess.
