Ill go for Peter Velits to win the stage. Far enouigh back in GC (8 minutes) to be able to get into the break of the day, strong enough to at the very least stay with whoever else gets in the break, and then a decent sprint on him which could help him at the finish.
Velits is in the break

Apologies if I missed this - but why is Sammy Sanchez not riding this year?
I thought he was supposed to...
He decided to focus on the Vuelta this year, i guess a combination of no one else looking like they were going to peak for it and the fact he wants to win a GT in his career
Agreed on the second point. As for the first point, my answer is that it'll be Sánchez vs. Basso vs. Gesink vs. Valverde vs. Evans vs. Cunego *snicker* vs. god knows who else
EDIT: Joaquim RodrÃguez, of course. And this time well rested, not like the Giro when he'd been in top form for two whole months by the time it started.
When did he decide this?
And I think if anyone is going to put time into Contador, then today may be their best chance. |

I don't know what channel your watching, but Versus here in the US crams a lot of commercial breaks into the beginning of the stage so that they can have a thirty minute commercial free zone. Its smart, considering that in the US you'll have around three commercial breaks in thirty minutes of television. |

Paul Sherwen just spent a minute calling Matthew Lloyd Matthew Wilson. He literally said the name five times before finally being corrected

How good is A. Schleck descending?
Do you think there will be any chance to see attacks on Contador in the technical downhill?

How you are completely wrong once again.
Andy Schleck is a very good descender. He isn't like his brother. This is general knowledge, but ofcourse, you don't know. |

There should be some kind of warning system at the top of the main page, it should flash when ruben is in a bad mood. |

Besides, I don't know where Stijn heard that Saxo Bank wouldn't attack. In the interview I heard, Riis said they wouldn't attack on the 1st climb, but "we'll see" for the 2nd climb. |
