It's nice to watch how they keep gap between 2.30-3.30..(usualy they let breakaway away with 8 min, for example).
Stage winner?..Cavendish (wow :roll. Wait ..I wanna be fool Freire will win.

Today's my birthday, so I'm really hoping for one of those scenarios. Also I just got a Cervelo jersey as a present, so I'm going to wear that on the ride I'm doing this moment.
Happy birthday, Deadpool. Best wishes.

Arvesen with a broken collarbone, probably.
He's out soon, I think.

Nope, he is back in the peloton, sitting close to the front. His left arm/shoulder looked very bad, but the painkillers he got from the doctor seems to have calmed it down a bit. The big question is what the hospital scans say after the stage... |

So as it could be foreseen, the whole radio ban just meant that the breakaway wasn't allowed to be more than a couple of minutes ahead. I still don't get that idea of multiple breakaways succeeding because of the radio ban.

Isnt that nicer then some program will calculate has hard they should ride ..to catch breakaway at the end.
Wait a hilly -mountain stage without radio..
Riders should start to think and make theyr own conclusions-decisions..
Btw. Who sayd that breakaways are over? |

I didn't point at you, in any case. It's just a lot of people hype about the radio ban effect, like if that would mean a lot higher rate of breakaways success. And of course I don't want a program to calculate the riders effort, I find it quite a pity if you use as an argument something I never said. Perhaps a nice balance would be to ban radios during the end of hilly stages, so riders have to think by theirselfs, imo. But I'm not a dreamer to think that radio banning will change dramatically other aspects of cycling, like some people tend to think. Actually, I quite made some points in a previous post and I totally agree about the tactical improvements with radio ban.

Kim Andersen, Saxo DS, has said that Arvesen hurts very badly, but that probably nothing is broken. Great news |

Why are the 3 French riders in the breakaway allowing Ignatiev to just sit in the wheel and do no work to help out?
Surely if this breakaway stays out then he will be able to pounce and win the stage on Bastille Day?
If you cant beat them, arrange to have them beaten.

Well, it appears that the Russians are trying to win in the most undeserving way as possible. He won't succeed anyhow, though. |
