After Isso talked up the download version last year, I plumped for it and it is superior to the Cd version in every conceivable way. You can still make a disc back up of the installation files if you are worried about space on your hard drive, and the activation codes thing is sooooo much better than star***** DVD security (I refuse to say their name out loud). Also, in the UK, how can you not go for the Download version when it comes out way before the DVD version. It's a no brainer! |

Speaking from experience of both versions (last year was my first, and last with CD). Download version is much better.
With download there's no "disc ever 3 days" etc. The game just runs.
Downside to download is activation limits.
CD, you can install as many times as you want.
Has the other advantages as shops running their own promotions (PCM08 in Game is/was £4.99).
It's up to you what version you get, but Download is superior. |

Good, for my country bumkin connection anyway (2 Mb/s). Fast as I can get anything off the web for me, downloaded at 500 kb/s for the whole time (Quit laughing already!) |

I could quite easily go for the disk every time as i will probably download it wrong and also have to uninstall it several times for the databases on here. And tbh im not fussed about putting a disk in and out for about 15 seconds max. My god that was hard?? NOT
Also i prefer to have the disk as i have two computers to put it on and you only get 3 installs dont you???
Anyway i have already ordered it so i'll be waiting for around the 28th i guess as it wont come on the day |

The problem with putting the disc in and making the computer crash was pretty major for me
With PCM07 I had to use a no-cd patch or re-install the whole game and patches to make the game work every 3 days. NOT FUN.
Getting more activations is easy - took 72 hours for me to get more, but I just planned ahead of a certain db release.
As for your pre-order, most reputable online shops (Game, ShopTo, sometimes-but-not-always Play.com) will deliver the disc the day before release. Not all bad, I guess. |

Also, at game. Use reward points. I did. Get the game for next to nothing, not bad at all i'd say. |

1. The downloaded version is usually only available in a few languages, not including the Norwegian. However, with a rather simple trick, I guess it's possible to activate it.
2. There's a limited number of activations. However, again, with a simple trick, you can reinstall as many times as you want as long as you're on the same computer.
Other than that, it works pretty much just like the cd. |

Does anybody know anything about the system requirements?
(Please dont hate me for asking these questions) |

The DL version is likely to be released on the day of international release which I think is on the 18th. This is earlier than the release day in some countries, e.g. Britain, Scandinavia. |
