I´m back with reports of remaining stages of Tour de Taiwan. And I´m proud I can say that Mark Cassidy achieved it!! but one by one...
Stage 6
Another flat stage with mass sprint in finish. Robert Hayles took his second win here. Mark Cassidy finished as 2nd just before Nico Eeckhout. Due to another bonus seconds, Mark gained yellow jersey after stage 6!!!

Stage 7
Short circuit stage, main goal was to avoid any troubles. But things went completely differently...it was first time, when my mini train fully worked! Nico opened sprint with Mark on his tail.
And yellow jersey celebrates his first stage victory and confirms his leading in general classification! Only bad luck or bad tactics in last stage could take away yellow jersey from Mark´s hand.

We are back in Belgium, aiming at second sponsor´s goal. They want to see some of my riders in TOP5. Although my team is on fitness peak, it is pretty tough task as starting list is full of well known strong riders....e.g. Albasini, Boom, Garzelli, Aerts, Barredo and many others. Our starting numbers are really high, noone (except of that damn sponsors) can´t wait anything big from my team.
Circuit race with short hill before end of each lap.
Winner of Tour de Taiwan Mark Cassidy is back in his obvious team role, protecting Nico Eeckhout during the race.
First serious attack, Belloti, Konovalovas, Ermeti and Milan are there, but with no chance to stay away of pack.
30km to go and one of the biggest favorites Carlos Barredo looses his nerves and attacks! Sep Vanmarcke is one of followers. Luckily it is only effort of Spaniard during the race, he´ll fall in down during decisive moments.
Barredo was first but definitely not last...one of many attacks is launched by Caucchioli with Van Vooren and Ghyselinck on his tail.
Ten Dam and Albasini attack in hill.
13km to go, strong group is forming in front - De Greef, Jacobs, Garzelli, Caucchioli, Gustov, Leukemans and two of my riders Vanmarcke and Ghyselinck are here.
Bertogliati, Ten Dam and Albasini join them just few moments later.
6km to go and Caucchioli launches crushing attack! Only Jacobs, Vanmarcke, Albasini, Ghyselinck, Ten Dam and Gustov are able to follow!
Gustov drops out of leading group.
Finish is close, Garzelli tries to catch leaders, but it is too late for him.
Caucchioli opens the sprint in last hill, Vanmarcke and Jacobs can´t reply. Only four riders have now chance for great victory...
...And Jan Ghyselinck is one of them, he moves forward!!!
But Pietro Caucchioli holds his position and celebrates fully deserved win. He was without doubt the strongest man today. Ghyselinck takes amazing 2nd place, whilst Vanmarcke finishes as 5th. Great performance of my riders means that second objective is reached!!

We have carried over 2 month to middle of May 2009. Now we are heading to another Asian race, Tour of Japan. But I have to make short report about some minor races with our participation during last 2 months before start.
