Rous is our leader here because Blot's form aint there yet
A cobble race in France with a French starting field and rain, lots of rain which would make this race even more difficult, the early break gets a maximum lead of 8 mins but is wheeled in with 30 kms to go. At that point, Saramotins, Blot and Rous are part of a group of 22 which is in front but it gets thinned out on the last cobble sections where the weak helpers have to let go and also Saramotins and Blot cant keep up anymore. Then we have a group of 9 with Auger, Mengin who are working for Chavanel the sprinter. Apart from that everyone is alone as the other 6 are Scheirlinkx, Engoulvent, Renier, the Swiss sprinter Elmiger and Rous. Belgy, the young gun from Bouygues was also a part of the break but he fell with 6 kms to go!
The group of 9 as they ride towards the finish, Belgy would fall and leave his teammate Renier on his own
Rous is still hanging on but the energy is slowly running out of his legs...and decides to stay in the group which will ultimately mean suicide because Chavanel will win a sprint without a doubt. Renier knows this and attacks but Chavanel is so strong that he is the only one who parries his attack and then he easily beats Renier in the sprint. Once again Rous ends 5th which is more then we expected of him
Chavanel had the best team today and was also the strongest of the day

Our last race this month (April) and this race looked like a perfect race for a breakaway and so instead of working for Serebriakov we wanted to send Arashiro in the break but he was caught, however our French youngster Guillaume Blot was allowed to join the 10 man break which now had 11 riders
The break, most notable names are Witecki who is the Polish Champ, Parisien, Mespoulede, Balciunas and Talabardon
On the hills some have to let go but they would come back and so it looks like it will be a sprint but then someone from Nobby's roubaix squad decides to attack!
Lesvenan has a small lead while the sprint starts in the backfield!
In the back Blot has picked Parisien's wheel who has the best sprint but when Pivois cracks Parisien is up front and now Blot can overtake him. However Balciunas is smart and uses Lesvenan as he gets behind him and then goes to the outside like a rocket! He looks to win but then a Dutchman surprises him from the inside!
Balciunas gets beaten by Van Zandbeek while Blot ends 3rd!

Our first race in May which will be a preparation race for some now that the Tour of Japan is up later this month, in this dutch race 1 dutch rider takes off with 100 kms to go, he gets a huge lead and with 10 kms he still leads!
Van Ruitenbeek was brave today, but he didnt get a reward...
A sprint would determine today's winner and Miyazawa lacked the form to win today, however he did end 5th but that isnt so difficult in a field like this
Bacquet wins the sprint in Overijssel

We bring our best riders to this tour, Wu and Rous are yet again our leaders, Miyazawa is our main sprinter because Mr. Serebriakov is a bit unhappy
The first stage is a criterium trough Osaka, and looking at the startlist our team is without a doubt the strongest here, only real competition comes from Sparkasse where Muller is the leader. We try to control the race tso that Miyazawa can try to sprint himself to a victory which is one of the 5 season goals, we already suceeded in getting the points jersey in the Tour of Siam (which the sponsors claim to know nothing about ) so we could make it 2 out of 2 in this tour. However 9 riders get away and since the pack lets them go, Shinichi Fukushima jumps over to the group and the pack doesnt mind. Fukushima works along but with 40m kms to go and a 4.30 lead I tell him to stop working because we have 3 sprinter and I wouldnt mind a sprint. Some guys are pissed off at Fukushima and they attack but now the lead is so safe that Fukushima could win here today, he counters Masciarelli who is the best rider if you dont icnlude Shinichi and he has a gap!
Left: Fukushima stops working, Right: Fukushima attacks, I bet those others really hate him now!
Behind him are 5 riders chasing but Fukushima simply has more enrgy left and so the win is his, he may have acted like a coward but he only obeyed my orders and even if he would have co operated he was by far the strongest rider in the group...
Fukushima wins and now has a 1'17 advantage, he might be able to hold on for a long while!

An interesting stage which could make it difficult for some sprinters, Serebriakov is our only sprinter who gets dropped, Miyazawa feels good but then disaster strikes as he falls and so does Serebriakov but he was already behind, because of this 4 men break loose and the Konica Minolta's play it perfectly as Van Heerden leads Seyfert to the win! Because the finish was uphill (3.2) Wu managed to end 6th, Fukushima still leads.
Left: Miyazawa can forget about a win today, Right: Seyfert wins!

The hills made it difficult for some sprinters but we didnt use them well enough to take advantage of it, most sprinters do make it and Seyfert wins for the 2nd time in a row even though Sulzberger was by far the strongest

A flat stage, but the hills would make this stage a very interesting one and today we wanted to make sure it wouldnt be a sprint and so we sacrificed Wu who gave it his all and had to let go on the top of the climb but still, this was what was left after Wu's action with 60 kms to go
13 riders with Arekejev and Masciarelli up front, Fukushima and Rous are present in this group
Arekejev and S. Masciarelli had to let go with 20 kms to go and now everyone was looking at eachother, then Muller attacked and Rous couldnt pull him back and so Fukushima attacked and Kunitski and Seledkov followed him, Muller won but how many seconds did Fukushima lose...Fukushima came in as 4th, 39 secs after Muller and in the final metres Kannemeyer, Sulzberger and Rous joined the group and so Rous didnt lose more time
Dirk Muller wins in Minami, but there are till 38 seconds between him and Fukishima!

Only 11 kms long, still Mount Fuji could shake things up in the GC, Rous was the clear favourite and a win was expected here but the most important question was, would Fukushima still be in the lead at the end of the day? Early on Wu set the fastest time but he would end 6th in the end. Vorontsov crushed it and would lead for a long time but then Rous came and he would win as he was 3 seconds faster. Kannemeyer did a good job ending 3rd and then Muller came, he ended 4th but lost 35 seconds and was nowhere near the top 3, Fukishima was dissapointing ending 27th, who leads now?
