Congrats to hillis for another stage win and cunego for the taking the GC!
Ranaweera finishing 3rd is about expectations giving the opponents he had here. Add some nice depth from Vauquelin and Garibian once again and we already have evened out the abysmal performance in Quebec.
And of course thanks to Abhi for the reports!

We have every reason to be happy with this race - good performances by Abdul Halil in the sprints, active in breakaways resulting in a stage win for Zegklis and competitive in both KoM and points classifications.
Congrats to cunego and thanks Abhi for the reports!
Thank you everyone for the congrats! Comfortably the best race of our season, and hopefully enough to propel us into the Top 15 of the rankings. Congrats hillis for the stage win, lief for the points jersey, and thank you Abhi for the reports, very fun to follow!
We leave the Tour de Maroc with mixed feelings. Mark Padun started the race with his eyes strictly on the overall victory. Unfortunately, the race profile made it incredibly difficult to create gaps. After a flat opening stage where Dylan Page showed great form as a sprinter by securing a strong top-10 finish, the real general classification battle unfolded during the second and fourth stages.
Stages 2 and 4 were completely decisive for the GC and not hard enough for Padun make a gap and come to better GC result compare to other climbers.
The ultimate silver lining is our fantastic victory in the Team Classification, which is definitely nice and proves that we have a very strong climbing team.
Congrats to stage and GC winners and thanks for preview and report.
I have very mixed feelings about this race. First of all: congratulations cunego and thank you. Walls taking a stage win and a jersey home mean it is difficult to categorise this race as anything other than a success.
That said, Pira was beyond useless, Not entirely unexpectedly, but still disappointingly. I am concerned that he might have prevented some of our baroudeurs trying to make it into the breakaways but, on the other hand, they may well have kept them fresh for the sprints...
