Never been so happy to be wrong. Close call to the other Spark rider but we end up on the right side of the coin here. I think they would have beaten us on ranking points so congrats on that Jakstar
I have been critical of Bjerg this season but this is his first GC victory and a nice bag of points. Let's pretend it's the start of the second act and we have no more complaining! Also great job from Paillot to sneak into that top ten and help seal the teams classification.
Congratulations to both Spark NZ and Minions for two amazing races. Things seemed to just keep going well for both and have to be so proud of those efforts!
Found a way to lead the CT crowd we think and find even some points in the team. Cardona showing why we pay him decent bucks (would be happy to pay him less though!) and he really did show why he's a backbone of the team. Can't complain as our team decides to stand up to the challenge recently presented by our sponsors.
Not the most convincing from our team with Jakobsen pretty average in the sprints and somewhat underwhelming from Conci and Vandevelde in 21st and 24th. Cosnefroy was strong though in the 1st prologue, less so in the final stage, but 5th in the GC was a great result!
Sorry for the late reply guys. I guess we have to be happy with some minor points from WVA finishing 20th in GC. I hope Wouters can find some form in ToA.
