Rabo chased which made them take 3rd rather than 2nd. Cervelo didnt chase and took the win regardless. Rabo also caused the crash from what I saw, combined with Milram trying to fit through a nonexistant gap.
On another note, according to Cycling News, Ista rides for Quickstep.

Sprint should have more even ..without that crash Pipo was there down also?
Anyway this crash blocked away several sprinters
yeah, the crash caused problems, Hushovd won with quite a good margin though.
Absolutly lightly uphill sprint today..Hushovd is hard sprint king. He was best sprinter today no questions |

Pozzato would have given him a run for his money without that crash.

how can you say he was the best? the other fast guys(apart from V Avermaet) didnt even get to do a full sprint
great win tho for Hushovd
and weird stuff from a strong Rabobank team

One moment I'm all excited Rabo make a brilliant team attacks. An houre later I cant understand what the hell they wanted to achieve with those counter attacks...
They had a second place at least, and if Langeveld could have placed an attack under the final km he could have won...
they where by far the best team, but ruining their own chances by thinking they couldnt beat Haussler... |

Rabobank tactics were just idiot. And if they were planning on chasing anyways, at least Langeveld should have stopped doing relays. This team crappy tactic remembers me of T-mobile's 2005 and 2006 tactics.
If I were Langeveld, I'd be mad as hell. |

Erik Dekker is a moron.
Like I said, glad that Thomas Dekker left there. He'll be much better off at Silence.
Rabobank did everything perfect, until the final 20km! WHY START ATTACKING, WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY |

They wanted to put pressure on Haussler
How the hell are you going to make Haussler afraid by sending Flecha or Posthuma? Haussler had Hushovd behind him!!!!! THINK ERIK DEKKER THINK |

De beverbeek classic was won by Schillinger, he was the best of a group of 3
The pelotonsprint for 4th place was won by Theo Bos, with some 10 bike lengths advantage |

So in conclusion, Bos would've won LBL 99, because if you have the power in a sprint, you can easily convert it, remember what our wise friend said! |
