Excellent results last night. Unbelieveable result by AaB. I was extremely pleased and extremely surprised to see them win at Riazor!
Unfortunately, the Spanish media (at least parts of it) has focused a lot on the ref's decisions. Personally, he think he did a good job. I didn't see Deportivo's disallowed goal, but there's absolutely nothing to complain about when it comes to AaB's two first goals.
First goal:
This is right at the moment when the ball is headed. It's very, very close at an offside, but not more than that.
The goal can be seen here:

Second goal:
The controversy is not about the goal, but about the episode before the goal. People claim that this is an offside:
The picture is taken _after_ the ball has been passed. Offside? Not really.
Goal can be seen here:

So, goooo AaB!
(A shame about FCK, but expected. Man City is better)
I'm really happy you just proved that there was no offside. I hate when the big teams AaB play always blame the referee.
Btw., new chapter for the terrible journalism of Marca:
https://ekstrabladet.dk/sport/fodbold/...132541.ece
Text is danish, but in short, they said that Deportivo was beaten by norwegian Aalborg BK.

And then it would be better to lose against a Norwegian team? I seriously doubt that

It's time for Man City - AaB. Will City manage to send 3 Danish teams out of the UEFA Cup in one season? |

No reason to shake. 5 minutes, and City is ahead with 1-0 |

They did manage to get through to some rather huge chances - not many, but a few .
Not a very exciting match, unfortunately |

AaB really didn't play well. One of the worst European matches this year by us. Man. City were clearly the better team today.
However, AaB can win 2-0 at home next week. Come on AaB!

Atleast we know that City can't win

Well atleast 2-0 is a good losing figure. This means that we are very likely to get some koefficient points, due to the fact that City won't be trying to win in Aalborg. If we are to get kicked out this was the way to do it... A 1-0 or 2-1 win for AaB next match... |

I expect City to collapse in Denmark, like they do everywhere else that isn't Eastlands. AaB are still very much in the match, although it may be best to aim for extra time. |

Nah, I don't agree. AaB will have to play rather offensive in Aalborg, and with City's unbelieveably fast players, it'll be rather impossible to keep them away from getting a goal.
We'll just have to wait and see, though |

City have been consistently horrible away from home in all competitions, all season.

But they still manage to get the job done in the UEFA Cup... Extremely lucky one might say, but it's not all coincidence that they are doing it again and again...
I believe in a 2-1 win for AaB... |

After intense pressure on City, AaB has managed to get a goal.
So, in total, 2-1 to City atm with 5-8 minutes left. |
