Interview with Matt Rowe just before East Midlands Classic
Hi Matt! How are you?
Rowe: Hello! I'm feeling great, it's going to be really fun to ride tomorrow.
Good, what do you think about your and the teams chance to make a top 10 tomorrow?
Rowe: I think that we have a big shot at making a top 10. Me and Malcolm (Elliott) are in pretty good shape and we also have Russell (Downing) as an outsider.
What are your comment on the starting field tomorrow? Riders like Grabsch, Mikhailov, Eckehout and Schär is going to be there.
Rowe: It's going to be tough but on the other side, it will be a great experience for us to ride against some of the greatest riders in the world.
Ok, thank you Matt.
Rowe: Thank you.

East Midland International Cicle Classics
Todays Leader:
Matt Rowe will be todays leader, he has developed good this season and this is his most important race of the season. Rowes goal is of course to finish in the top 10 which is our goal. Matt is going to take it easy when the first real attacks are coming and send Malcolm instead, if it's starting to be a serious attempt, Matt will try to do something.
Todays free-role:
Malcolm is a great cobble rider, but today we choosed Matt as the leader. Elliott will be our "aggressive" rider and he will answer at the most attacks when they comes.
Todays outsider:
Russell will be todays outsider, he has not got a great form but he's still a great rider. If he feels that he got the legs when the attacks starts, then we will let him to try.
Goal:
It's finally here! Our first important race of the season and we are very excited before the race. The starting field is good and it's going to be really tough. We have sent a big squad to the race and we hope that it's going to help us in the race. All of the small british teams are here, and of course we want to beat all of them! Team Halford has sent a good team with Andrew Tennant and Ian Wilkinson as their leaders, Plowman has just sent three riders !? Mozley will be their leader, Rapha Condor has sent a big squad and Craven willbe their leader while the Sean Kelly Team has sent a great team with Nico Eckehout as team leader.
Race:
The race started really bad, after just 10 km, Malcolm Elliott crashed!
But we were pretty lucky, Malcolm didn't hurt himself, and he got back to the pack fast. Just after that, Palma (Colavita) attacked from the peleton and created a gap, and no one answered so he went on a solo ride today.
With 112 km left to the line, Rusev fell, but he came back.
The next rider with bad luck was Caldwell (Garmin) who punctured with 78 km to go.
But as the other unlucky riders, he got back to the pack easy. Nothing interesting happened until it was 48 km left of the race. Then it was time for us to have bad luck again. Sampson fell..
and he got injured and was forced to abandon.
After that the interesting events started. With 40 km to go, the pack was splitted into two parts and this time we were lucky.
It went back to normal after some kms, but after another 10 km it splitted up in two parts again, and also this time we were lucky.
But then SaxoBank started to relay hard in the second group, and they caught the front group, so back to normal again. The first attacks from the favourites did never come, and with 12 km left of the race, it was still one big group at the front. On the last cobble section, nothing happened and it looked like it would come down to a sprint. Rowe took Mikhailovs(Katusha) wheel.
A good position and with 1,5 km to the line, Mikhailov made his move with Rowe still on the wheel.
With less than a km to go, Rowe decided to give it a last try, and it looked good. Matt had a great speed today.
Rowe closed the gap and on the line it was very tight. Still did Mikhailov start to celebrate, maybe to early?
No, unlucky there for Rowe, but still a great result, a result over our expectations!
Malcolm crossed the line as 15th, a good result for him aswell!
An amazing race for us! That's all I can say, what a race!

But we were pretty lucky, Malcolm didn't hurt himself,(..)
So, he's not an emo?
Very nice story, can't understand how you play so good, I play with Joker-Bianchi, and the sponsor confidence is very bad... |

Are you sure? I want you to decide.
How do I edit it, and with which editor?

I don't know really, but I think the progress of the riders depends in every career. In my career Ben Greenwood got 71 Mountain, 70 Hill and 70+ TT, so I think that your riders will progress soon. Maybe my riders will stop developing now and then your riders will develop later in the season.
