Still I insist this would never happened last year, two years ago, or in his Panaria period, plain impossible. He dropped at every tiny speedbump |

Last year, not so sure, but before that, definitely. |

Danish tv is actually showing daily summaries of the stages. Right now, they're showing Lance's exclusive interview with Paul Sherwen.
Oh, and just before, they were playing "Feeel the rush!" |

I watched the highlights on Sky Sports last night. I particularly enjoyed the bit where Sherwen asked the Australian Prime Minister (standing next to Armstrong) why, if the TdU was such a good race, he had never attended one before......
I love it when politicians are asked awkward questions! |

I think this race does not fit any kind of top class sprinter. I fits only those who bother doing the preparation before January which means australian sprinters. You won't see many more riders in a good shape to face those fierce final sprints.
Another advantage to the aussies is the heat. I don't have the values but I think this is a critical time of the year when you get temperatures above 40ºC!

Well, pardon me, but if guys like Elmiger are in the top 10, and if Greipel can't keep up, and if Eisel and co even finish at 18 minutes, then this was a stage were Brown normally would have finished in the 18 minutes group...
Eisel had been working on the front the whole day and pulled off with 40 k left....

Have you turned into a silly 15 year old girl?
Also, don't worry about Brown, there's plenty of time for him to fuck up his season/contract by showing up at the Giro/whatever off form. Probably even the Tour, since he's basing his season around leading out Freire this time...
And to think they had told him he was surplus to requirements back in 2006, until he suddenly won 2 stages of the Deutschland Tour and they hurriedly renewed his contract........and he did barely anything ever since.....and they renewed his contract again... |

You were beaten by Scott, go dunk your head in the toilet. As Trek has the coolest bike in the TDU, we get a pass:

haha
I think I'll just skip my studying today just to wait for Ruben's reaction
btw Davis (2nd) and O'Grady (3rd) are looking pretty good I'm counting on them for the GC
EDIT: Greipel has injured his shoulder and as retired the race as well as Baden Cooke and 7 other riders

I have to say that trek is the worst Paint job i have ever seen. Looking up close it lacks the professional edge. Most company use a great mix of bare carbon and matte black but on trek they use it in the main logo only but this is obscure because of the yellow that sits too high about the rest of the frame. I can see why people would like it. But i have to say i think the nicest looking bike at the race has got to be either, the Team High Road scott, Milram Focus or one of the Specialized. |
