I'm very happy for Button
Let's hope things go ok for him tomorrow, seeing as he doesn't tend to do too well at Melbourne.
News has come in that the Toyotas will be starting at the back due to the rear wings being too flexible. Also, Hamilton will be starting 18th because of a gearbox change.

One of the rule changes is that this year the weight of the cars is announced after qualifying so that the spectators have a clue what's happening with fuel.
Everyone's on pretty much the same fuel, except for Nakajima (extremely light and gambling on an early safety car) and the Brawns are the heaviest of the front cars. |

Yet when McLaren and Red Bull do it, it's fine. The FIA pisses me off. It's not like they're biased....they're just complete idiots. |

I had no idea about that. Not a great performance from Nakajima in that case. |

The drivers only have to decide the fuel they'll race with between Q2 and Q3. Everyone drives Q1 and Q2 on very low fuel |

It's what I think. Can't we ban you for making a question like that?

Of course. What am I talking about?
I've read (although it may not be true) that the weight of Nakajima's Williams was announced incorrectly originally, so actually he will probably be staying out longer. |

Tut Tut Toyota not following the rules, putting something extra and illegal on their rear wing. |

I think vettel will win it. Never watched F1 but he seems to be doing well 32 laps to go.

I was wondering how Trulli managed to make an error behind the safety car. I'm pretty sure Trulli will get demoted to 4th for this because he took back the 3rd place from Hamilton after making the mistake, which I don't think is allowed.
Hamilton won't believe his luck, because this will go down as a podium for him if Trulli is indeed penalised. |

The punishment is unfortunately even worse for Trulli - a 25 second penalty. How can this be considered fair when the race finished under safety car conditions? These penalties just keep coming
Very poor decision by the stewards in my view. Toyota have had a very unlucky weekend. |

at Vettel and Kubica with three laps to go, banding together for a team fail before going on to each crash themselves shortly after.
They should have let Vettel drive in for 7th with his smashed wheel.
