Mmm, but the race length is only 500m. In real life it was over 3k.
It looks like this in game.
FDJ rider is on the start line, Cofidis rider is setting off.

That means the stage maker didnt know that when making the stage... he should've known it though... |

That deserves to be in the Funny Screenshots Album

My game crashes when I'm going from day to day and to a race. It says:
"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library" As the title of the window.
And in the box, it says:
"Runtime Error!
Program: ... Files/Cyanide/Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2008/PCM.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information."
Can someone help me?? Thanks in advance |

Try changing your graphic settings.
The settings were reset when you installed the DB. |

It wasn't installed properly then.
You need to completely reinstall the game.
Q. How do I uninstall the game completely?
A. First, go to Start -> Programs -> Cyanide -> Pro Cycling Manager 2008 and find the uninstall-link. Next, go to "My Computer", your hard drive, "Program Files" -> Cyanide and delete the Pro Cycling Manager-folder. Then go to My Documents and delete the Pro Cycling Manager folder. Last thing is Start -> Run and type in %AppData% . A folder will open. Find the Pro Cycling Manager folder and delete it. The game is now completely uninstalled.
When installing the DB again, make sure to do it right by folllowing the directions in the installation file. |

My game with Saxo Bank doesn't go any farther than Colombian ITT Championships which is on 17th April. |

What does it do at that date?
It's not a general problem. I've seen several people get past that date without any problems, myself included. |

When I click the "next day/event" button, it doesn't respond. |

The fields for Het Volk and the Scheldeprijs are for some reason extremely weak (Maarten Wijnants winning Het Volk? really?)
And no teams ever ride Paris-Tours. none. |

Thanks.
And a rather funny bug: When playing some teams, you might end up with more than 5 goals. |

About the Iglinskys being Belarussian that I mentioned the other day, it's that their nationalities are set as KGZ (Kyrgyzstan) instead of KAZ (Kazakhstan), and since there's no KGZ flag, the belarussian one shows up
Also, please get a KGZ flag for the sake of Eugen Wacker

I have noticed something similar when I've been testing equipment. I'm not sure if this is a bug or not - but there are very small fields at some fairly big races. (Stage Mode) |

You can't really use the results from Stage Mode. We haven't updated the team lists for the races, meaning that all the deleted teams haven't been replaced by the new ones, thus making the fields smaller. This only counts for the stage mode, though. |
