Nice win for Shonak, congratulations. Penasa in second is also quite impressive, very constant rider with the overachievement once in a while Happy for cunego that Madrazo was able to at least finish on the podium.

Only now getting around to commenting. I'm happy with Madrazo's performance overall, 3rd in the GC is not at the highest end of potential outcomes but I had feared much worse. Some really inconsistent racing from some of our opponents helped us out, commiserations especially to Padun, no idea what happened there. And congrats to Strava and Philips, great results for Sicard and Penasa!
It was also fun to see El Sabbahi competing in the sprints, even if only for lower Top 10 results. Maybe he can finish on a high note on the final stage.
Not much more to add, El Sabbahi missed the crucial selection in the sprint but still got Top 15 at least, which isn't too bad. Other than that, thanks for the nice reports Ulrich! And thanks @Nemo for the shout
Too bad that Aregger was impatient on that final stage and launched early - but I guess another HC stage podium or even the green jersey would've been too much of a fairy tale end of his "maxed" career. I definitely won't complain about his performance, though - he was incredibly lucky compared to many (on paper) stronger sprinters. Great job!
And that was needed, because Mäder was disappointing once again. No matter whether it's a race with or without TT, he performs clearly below his climbing stat in C1/HC races. We'll see what we can do about this during the offseason...
Overall, we should have scored about 50 points, which is lower than the target but definitely not a bad race, either.
Congrats to Strava, and thanks for the reports to UU!
Super disappointing Stage 5 where Areruya should have been a huge favourite to instead lose time. Not a brilliant race for us but an entertaining one and a loveable podium! Thanks for the great reporting UU
