@Laurens Miracles can happen Congrats
Thanks for another super report Fab, and for fixing our transfert issue
Looks like Destribois is keen to rub Haller's nose in it by getting better sprint results than he did!
Sight scare when Moazemi missed the split but the team looked after him for another day in yellow.
Two more lumpy stages to defend then Haller gets his chance.

Epic reports
Most of our riders doing quietly well, but actually I would prefer seeing us active in breakaways! So I hope this will change at some point.

That's a side of Barta we've not seen all season! Was awesome to see how strong he was there. 2nd place is a great result for us on this stage. He and Eenkhoorn have been very good so far, along with TvA. Choi has been sitting and waiting and conserving energy and it's definitely not a bad thing. We still hold two jerseys and that's great.
Congrats to Laurens and thanks for the report
Thanks for reminding me that I've sold Barta and now I secretly regret this decision. Though I didn't had a crystal ball back then to see into the future.

God damn, it's nice seeing the team at the front of the pack so much. But only if Betancourt would attack sometime congrats to Jasper, adn thanks for the beautiful report Fabi!

Thanks for the great report. Of the early stages that one worried me the most for the weaker hill climbers like Kuss, with all the distance and the short sharp climbs. So glad to get it over with only minor drama.
Finishing climb is a little longer tomorrow so maybe the GC guys come out to play.

Quiet but good rwce for Vasyliv. Edmondson tried and failed but still glad that Vasyliv has managed to hold on and inside the top 10 in GC. Excited to see how he can go!

Those points Vine got from finishing in Top 5 in the stage come in handy. Tusveld and Pernsteiner managed to hold onto the peloton, but sadly the same cannot be said for Jacobsen - not good for his renewal prospects

Another fantastic report Fab!
The long stage sapped the helpers' energy allowing the break to succeed and forcing Moazemi to step up and close down that dangerous Eriksson attack himself.
Moazemi had enough in the tank to attack himself, didn't come off but great to see the yellow jersey not just defending.
Betancourt had a go as well but wasn't quite strong enough to catch the break and with all the helpers out of gas congrats go to Jajajasper for the stage win.
Moazemi safe in yellow and threatening to take green but Eislers is surviving the hills rather too well and might have a better claim, lets see what happens in the last hill stage before the pure sprinters get their chance.

At least we tried something and we are still getting really good points from the GC/KOM places, but it feels like we should be doing a bit more on these hilly stages.

I don't like the complete lack of breakaway appearances from our guys! We finish randomly in the main pack so far, not doing a thing though.. hope this will change soon, otherwise we risk something really bad points wise.

Edmondson was so close still good to see him finally on the attack! 3rd is great from him and now we head into sprint days for Nizzolo. Maybe a break away is possible too? Vasyliv again with a quietly good day!
Congrats to the winner and another excellent report!

Great stuff from TvA again! Not a stage where I expected a sprinter to win and definitely not van Asbroeck but here we are. Seemed like the Green jersey was slipping away in the previous stages but this increases the gap at the top again
Great work from Velasco once again to get Van Asbroeck into position. Glad he got rewarded with 8th as well. Good sign to see Choi in the Top 10. Means he's feeling good at the of the first week. Was a bit worried that he might lose ground on the hills, but so far so good.
Thanks for the congrats and the report

Italy Hill not hilly enough, Kraftwerk backed Moazemi who gave it a go but it was not steep enough to distance the sprinters who overtook in the last 200m.
Another top 5 place for Moazemi means another 3 days in yellow barring accidents.
Congrats to Abhi and thanks for another super report.
Thanks also to the course designer UU for the exciting stages.

Philips and P4E are the only teams with two wins so far; the former by the same rider, the latter with two different stage winners. Philips in general had a very dominant first week with 4 podium spots already, plus Van Asbroeck still leading in points. Crabbe and Cedevita have the second highest number of podiums so far, but the latter are lacking a win and hence are lower in the list than the teams with stage wins.
Van Asbroeck and Eislers are the only riders with more than one podium so far - both have collected three of them. Only 10 teams have picked up at least one out of the 21 available podium spots so far - and all teams with a win have at least one more podium spot.
Week #2 will start off pretty flat - with three more (supposed) sprint stages, before we'll finally get some mountains

Itami is in our train in one shot. In the other hes as far back as he can be. He surely wasn’t a pathfinder in his younger years cause he gets lost all the time. Congrats to the winner and thanks for the report Fabi
