Did anyone watch the Prize fighter competition on Sky Sports 1?
I did, it was very good, a rough Belfast boy won it, he was 36 over a youngster who thought he was 'All That'

Forgot that. No way in hell I was going to watch it then. Setanta is already being sold, lets hope they lose all their TV rights with it

Setanta is the most pointless channel ever, only shows the rubbish that no-one wants and the stuff they do show no-one will want to watch due to their commentry or whatever.

It's Irish.
That's why it can survive. Nobody else wants the Irish sports, and they can get enough money from the Irish people to make an impact in mainland Britain

Their selling it are they, ha! another victory for Sky They show some Prem Games and a lot of european ones, they also have rights to the Chelsea Man U and Liverpool Channels, it would be good but you have to pay extra and if you have sky its just more of the same, i mean i wouldnt mind watching dutch matches, but if i didnt have sky i wouldnt have eurosport, which is my cycling haven

For those of you who would have watched it, it really is worth seeing even when knowing the result. High-intensity fights, some good punches and a great audience / crowd / whatever. |

I saw the first round on Youtube, only really 2 punches thrown it was really drab.
also on the Setanta discussion, i just read that they are launching a high definition channel, and they just bought FA Cup games so they are investing a lot if they are intent of selling.. where did you read that they were being sold crommy?

Great win for Calzaghe, it seemed a bit controversial but who cares, its particularly great since Hopkins is basically Mr. Arrogant.

The Times.
I didn't think when I wrote - this will probably not be a backward step, it could make them bigger.

No because only a minority of those are idiots who, being jealous when a Welsh team or person achieves something better than anyone from their country, and their only response is to resort to sheep.

Well not controversial as such, just that it was very tight. The reporters from the BBC for example, thought that Hopkins might have edged it before the decision was revealed.

I'm fine thanks.
But if people are going to make stupid comments that they intend to be a joke, then they should actually say its a joke or better yet, not post it at all. It wasnt clear enough to me that it was supposed to be a joke.

Well im afraid i was having a joke, do i really believe Welsh people Love sheep, well apart from a minority... i mean no! Its something people are stereotyped with e.g. Americans being fat and from an american point of view, the English being posh and having bad smiles, we just get on with it. Im sorry if i offended anyone but where i come from people take steroetypes on the chin...

I understand what you are saying too but my point is that some people don't like to always be fooling around.
