Hehe, you really gotta be kidding me. First breakaway rider to fold and lost all of our point scoring riders in GC at the last stage.
Yes Nemolito, this was certainly a race to forget for Tafjord
Congrats to Tinxias! |

Congrats to Glanbia on a great final stage and Trans on the win. Consistency paid off.
Mixed feelings for us. Before the race I think I would have taken 1st and 3rd in the young rider and 8th on the GC given the TTT. Not to mention Hecht's valiant run at the KOM. On the other hand . . .
Hecht understandably faded on the last stage and we wonder why Revard wasn't the one targeting the KOM. Our tactics seemed confused as we veered between swamping the break and playing it badly and then missing the critical break on the final stage. And on the two MT stages Kuss was decisively out-climbed by riders who he should be competitive with. All of which leave me thinking about what could have been. But . ..
Others suffered much worse, Mas' collapse was inexplicable and really McNulty has no business beating Barta again.
So I think I need to be happy and hope Kuss is saving his climbing legs for target races later in the year.
Thanks to Nemo for the great reports.

Definitely not the race I was hoping for…moving on to Southland. Hopefully Edmondson can perform for us there.

In all seriousness, very disappointing to lose out there as the AI seems to have let me down big time.
I am feeling you, man. That's a bitter pill to swallow.
Wow, what a finale. I didn't expect that in the least.
The team did the job in the last stage. Amador comfortably secured the 4th place in the GC and the team finished 3rd in Teams Classification. With Chaves' stage win added to the tally I am pleased with how things turned out for the team. Although I want to say once more, damn you, TTT!
Congratulations, MacC for the stage win, TrinxiaS for the GC and thank you, Nemolito, for the excellent reports! |

Woo hoo, great finish for Glanbia. As soon as I saw Craddock in the break I was confident.
Winning KOM and Dan moving up to 6th really salvaged this race.
Congrats to Trans and thanks for report

Congratulations to Trans taking the win on the final stage! Great to see our team being involved in every stage besides that awful team time trial performance But we are really not a time trial team |
