WHO DEY...
AAARGGGGHHHH.
Fumble-maniacs of the year, Baltimore, made some extremely slutty calls when they had every chance to win it. McNair far from peak form (wounded?) and Bilick a fool in the last minutes. Why the heck did Boller have to throw those passes instead of run it?
I am almost pleased to see that you cheered for Cards as well... And damn that match was a punters face-off, if ever! Awfull plays and very little creativity on the pitch... LEINART, YOU @%!*! |

am surprised that no one mentioned it but the New England Patriots have been charged with a $ 500.000 fine and depending on whether they make it to the playoffs they will either have to give their 1st round pick away or their 2nd and 3rd pick. If they make the playoffs they will still have a 1st round pick from the 49ers so it could have been worse.
The reason they got fined was that they found a NE assistant filming on the NY sideline and therefore probably being able to give their defense schemes to Belichick. However they discovered this in the 1st quarter so it didnt affect the game however many ppl now think that the Pats have been doing it more than this 1 time and thats why they got this punishment.

yeah, serves the bloody cheats right.
Imho they should have lost the NYJ game 30-0, but I guess thats not the way those things are handles in the NFL.

I saw the why - just dont agree. In a (real) football game, they would have lost for that kinde of infringement..

mmm, the worst thing however could be that NE is already doing \this for many years which explains their glory years but I hope that that isnt the case

nah, it doiesnt explain that they are great. It seems its the kind of things that all teams do, but few so blatantly.
and appaerently they also did it vs. the Packers! Now who would need that?

Well, in NFL you handle doping cases with exclusion from three matches - not two years. Says a lot about the mentality |

No no, you got it aaaal wrong. Americans aren't doped. They have "Substance abuse problems" and they "violate the leage medical code", which They get small slaps on the wrist foor. Now lets all laugh those silly cyclists who are all doped to the hilt..
NFL still rules though. Its like cyclong back when the dopers just took EPO and got away with it!

Well, no doubt they'll reach the playoffs, and they should be able to handle the cash fine...
I don't think the punishment is very hard and it's not sufficient to scare other teams away from doin the exact same stuff. |

My friend and I was promised two tickets by the NFL - which is very hard to achieve.
Then when he tried to buy them - you receive a special code for the online sale - he could buy no more than one ticket! I'm so dissapointed... |

"Hate them guys" -- can you actually say that? It reminds me of the language Piggy speaks in "Lord of the Flies".
Anyway, in Denmark, a really hard punishment for doping has been given. A guy from "my team" (the one I played for before I stopped) was tested positive. The guy has been suspended for two years, and the team (Monarchs) has been made the loser of two games (pretty sad since they were unbeated until now). Now, that's a hard punishment.
I don't think the punishment is entirely legal, though. Neither do the team which has now appealed the decision. |

pretty much anywhere in Europe, 2 years is standard for any doping offence in any sport.

i agree that is a very harsh punishment, unless of course the staff knew he was doping then maybe it should be ok, but that's doubtful, and even if they did know it's still quite harsh
EDIT: just seen isso's post, just to be clear i was saying the loss of the 2 matches was harsh

Isso: I know about the 2 years one - that's a fine punishment. But making the team lose two matches is crossing the line. |

depends on whether or not they can prove it was with the team's knowledge.
