Im stunned, there is no CSC-Saxo Bank rider in the U23 TT (that i know of), and yet it will be on danish television.

if it comes down to a break, i'm going for the schlecks. If it's a sprint, freire or cavendish(if he races). It'd be cool for bettini if he won, since he may be retiring and he'll get the 3 in a row record.

Cav for sure isn't racing.

The under-23 ITT starts at 13:00 GMT, 14:00 local time
Does anyone have the startlist?

Costa's a classics rider/decent climber, most of all.
I'm betting on Smukulis

Really a pity that neither Kittel nor Kirtskiy will be participating. I'm hoping for Malori who is - with no doubt - the huge favourite for this event. I don't know anything of Arturo Mora's form after his impressive Vuelta a Palencia-victory a month ago but I think he'll be in top 5 at least. If he's still in form, he will be a safe bet for podium. Rafael Serrano will also be up there, I think. The in-form Andreas Henig and Siarhai Papok will definitely also be with a good chance of taking a medal. In addition there's a bucket load of outsiders with Sokolov, Ovechkin and Færk as the biggest.
Never.

The reason I'm not going with Malori is that an italian guy I know who follows youth cycling a lot more than I do says he tends to crack mentally under the pressure of big moments.
We'll see.

By the way Stairs, do you know if Malori has any semblance of a contract for next year? Or is he going to continue riding amateur races?

Personally, I would assume that he was going pro next year but I don't know where. As Malori's team mates as Enrico Zen and Andrea Grendene have gone pro on different teams, I think he could go to whatever team
About his mentality, I don't know. He's been riding very well in both very hilly races and ITT's the last couple of weeks and he seems to have timed his peak form perfectly.
Never.
