Weird stage, but very good for my team! I´m proud seeing Mullen sitting on 6th place , less than 30 seconds of podium. Moreover, Polar won Team Classification, that´s awesome!!!

What a disgrace. I know we hadn't the best team here, but that performance (except of Christensen's effort in the final stage) was just terrible. Especially by Howard. We continue to tumble down the rankings after a similar terrible cobbles campaign by Tom David.
That final stage was basically perfect for Vangstad and a poteontial good GC from him. Though, it doesn't help when his TT is bad, and then his positioning in the peloton when the split occurs is even worse. That makes this race a no show for us, which I guess must be tolerated consider how great he was last season.
Expected overall win from Phinney, and also podium places from Würtz and Coppel. Congratulations to all of you!
Caught up on the race now, and wow, what an incredible result for Bob Jungels - 5th in GC here, after a superb Stage 3 time trial, is almost certainly the best MG result he will ever achieve. It's one thing to crack the Top 10 in the TT, it's another to survive the bumps of Stage 4 on a normal day, never mind one with all the splits that did occur.
Goos backs it up with a good GC result as well, was counting on him to make any splits that occured, and he didn't disappoint.
