The Tour Down Under race uses the top_parisnice.xml in the "gene_sz_classification_xml" this could just be lazyness by Cyanide or a mistake, not sure which.

But do i have to start over again then? Does anyone know what others riders birthdays that are wrong?
If you edit your save game you don't have to start a new career. |

A couple of minor things I've noticed that haven't been mentioned yet:
-An error in the first stage of Tour de Suisse that classifies the first sprint as a pack finish, complete with both time bonuses and finishing points. Effectively, there are "two" finishes. So, all of the riders in the break ended up being the ones at the top of the GC at the end of the day.
-This is rather minor, because I've grown accustomed to playing without this feature for awhile now, but none of my bike configurations are saved and C1 is the only one that appears functional.
-The Australian TT champ race was not on my calendar and so there is no champion, haha. |

The Australian TT is on no-ones calendar. It was not in the offical db.
It will be down to a database maker to add it.

Okey, I think I got a very lame bug. I'm playing with Rabobank, just pasted the Amstel Gold Race, and one of my riders is suddenly duplicated. Replacing the savefile with an earlier one does not seem to help... the problem occurs again (please see the attachment for a screenshot)

I couldn't read the fourth page on this site, so if this is said before I apologise.
There are a few people complaining about the possibility of making break-aways work. Personally I don't have that problem, since they tend to work a lot. What i s bothering me though is that in a break-away there are to many attacks, to early.
An example, in the mountain-stage of tour de romandie, at the top of the first mountain four riders are in a break. After the first decent, and with four more mountains, they start attacking eachother. This is not riders who'll be able to go alone, and so it seems to me that they are attacking away their already slim chances.
This, of course, is not the only time this has bothered me. In fact, it seems to be the rule more than the exception, which make me think this might be a small bug. |

it's Bauke Mollema and his evil twin brother Mauke Bollema
seriously, that's a pretty random bug

It happens very occasionally, I've heard it reported before anyway. Purely an interface bug I think.

In grand tours, when a break makes it and gets the overall lead for a few stages, the whole race goes to hell because the favorites all get depressed because they think they're not doing well on GC.
This is because they're behind on GC, when in fact the guys in front of them on GC are some random guys who are going to lose hours when the mountains come.

A couple of times recently I have found that the Follow button remains unavailable until about 3Km to go. As far as I know it is supposed to become available with about 12 Km to go.
Needless to say, my sprinters aren't doing too good (and I struggle with sprinting anyway). |

I have HUUUGEEE problems chasing down a break-away, because my own riders simply wont coorperate, and the other teams wont help me at all... Sometimes that makes 2 "trains" pulling the pack; 1 with my riders if i can get them to coorperate and 1 with AI riders... Also in break-away, I also have HUUGEE problems getting the riders to coorperate, and alot of attack happens even though the breakaway have just existed for 10-20 km, and these attack usually dont stop untill the finish |

by the way, the startlists for the world championships suck major donkey dick, as ruben would say. Garcia Acosta (67 time trial) was tenth in the time trial. that says a lot about the startlist

If a u23-rider is sponsored by a team, the team name does not appear in the scouted riders list (vary annoying) as it did in pcm07 for example. |

Hi, first post!
I saw on the cyanide forum somebody saying that after downloading the new patch to the downloaded full version it no longer works because the computer asks for a CD protection sysytem....
Is this true? I need to know before I download the patch |
