Several updates for the DB have already been released. Find them by clicking the DL-link in the side bar. |

I also having problems. I can't start a normal career. It works prefectly in singe-race mode, but the carrer part isn't working. When it is loading "leader type" it shuts down the game! Any suggestions? |

this will sound stupid, but are you sure you downloaded the PPDB 2007 Giant?
the Giant's are made purely for career mode and not at all for single-race mode, that is why i ask |

100% sure. It starts to load after i have chosen team roles, and when it hits "leader type" it simply shuts down. I have exactly no idea about whats is wrong! |

ok i kind of exaggerated the download time, it took me half an hour, without a download accelerator
what download accelerator do you use, i've tried some but none of the ones i've tried actually work |

I downloaded all I could find, tested them all, then settled for the fastest
"free download manager"
might not be the best with your particular connection. who knows?

I may sound like paranoid person..But seems to me like Plakker have done nice move..releasing PPDB 07 at the same time with Cyanide 07 game release. |

I think it's because he refuses to do anything for PCM 3 - he wants everyone on PCM 2 using his database. Quite frankly, as I'm not buying the new PCM until some good DB/official databases comes out, I couldn't be happier

His plan worked for me too, I was going to stop PCM2 but the greatness of PPDB, plus the fact that I finally turned shaders on, plus the fact that PCM3 is looking rather crap - means Ive started and am enjoying a new career.
Plus, the masses of new stories at the PPDB site are fun to read.

i agree it's worked on me and the stories on PPDB are fantastic at the moment, but i'm sure most will be short-live, except Tinus' and Talleyrand's of course |

I've been trying to get on the PPDB forums for ages - but all my e-mail addresses miss out on normally just one of their e-mail rules - its really annoying

the stories are great, of course, Talley and Tinus' of course are to look forward to.
especially when Tinus gets to that wacky TT up to Macchu Picchu in the Vuelta al Peru
Alex's of course we are taking bets on wether or not he will make it to march
but I'm immensely enjoying PPDB. even more now that today (after 11 months of having the game!!) I finally bipassed the crashes. just run it in windowed mode, and I can run with everything absolutely maxed and no problems whatsoever
PCM07 can wait (although it would be a nice surprise if it came exactly on my birthday , especially since I'm not paying for it), but it'll be a LOOONG time before I enjoy it as much as PPDB07.
that is, even though the new gameplay features they wrote in the faq, despite being overlooked so far by most, look great to me

Its not fair ~ I got denied for the tour of Peru - it looks awesome! I shouldve changed my team's nationality to Peru beforehand
