Lincoln GP
The Team:
Sponsor Goal: Top 5.
A hilly single race in Britain who is important for Plowman Craven.
The race started with Ben Swift attacking. He created a breakaway.
Here we have the breakaway.
The breakaway were pushing hard and the peleton were lazy. So with 75km left the breakaway still had 8 minutes. Then Lanbouwkrediet started to relay. But the realy won't work.
Plowman had a chance of getting top 5, because Swift were in the break!
But, what is that? NOOOO!!
Swift has falled.
Kinnear of Team MTN won the race.
Kinnear celebrating his win.

Did you not race in the Midlands Classic?
Unfortunate in Lincoln GP, its a shame the course is nothing like reallife though - it should end up the cobbled Michaelgate climb in Lincoln.

How did Ricco win the Giro without winning being 1st, 2nd or 3rd in any of the stages?
Look forward to seeing your team back in action

It has to be because the Giro ends 1. June, and the monthly award is about June. I guess he won, or took some podium places in May |

sporting was asking how he won the giro without winning a stage or podiuming in a stage - he wasn't asking why he won the award

Wacko, the point was that although most of the race was in May, it ended on something like June 1st. So in June all he did was win the overall race - it was in May that he took stage placings in the important stages
Thanks ember
