Yeah addy im fine with wating for CT, who will probably know why
But i mean i think smoothie just noticed that some newbies were getting there answers faster, probably because they were easier to solve. I agree with rjc in that you came across a bit harsh, i mean the guys your friend so theres no need to be so abrupt, im not saying your wrong, just to be a bit less harsh
I agree that maybe it was a little harsh, I tried to make it less harsh. But I don't apologise for what I said. If Smoothie is abrupt, he deserves an abrupt answer
Anyway, no need to dwell on that, the problem is resolved

Simple really, when i made the avatar size in photoshop i chose the middle sized quality, rather then the shite one. I shall redo it with the shite one.
EDIT:
Slightly changed, slightly smaller size (quality), only 20kb on my computer.

That was a good idea and i tried a jpeg file but it still didnt work, then i made the image smaller 99x100 and the file size was 24kb (6 under the limit) but it still didnt work!!!!!
I think only CT can solve this mistery

But do you see Me or Addy ever featuring in the active forumers section?
If memory serves me correctly, photoshope has a 'Safe for Web' option which can lower the filesize. So surely Smoothie could open the original file in photoshop and use that function when saving so that the filesize is less than 30kb.
Edit: Typical, you fix it right when Im posting
