MY FIRST WIN

I know there is still a long way ahead but it's great to be in the lead especially with tomorrow's being a stage where I can rest my legs. I have high hopes for this race.

I think you should up the difficulty level. It is hard to read a story when your subject either wins or is constantly on the podium and the results aren't realistic.

But thats just what I think.

kind of agree

same issue i'm having with my story
I can sprint well but not climb so good so thinking of changing difficulty just on the flat

I've only won once and i have never been on the podium on a flat stage.

And besides I'm a little afraid of extreme.

There will be nothing new until tomorrow.

This may be the end because my whole game is messing up. If it is just the game and not the .CDB then I can transfer it to another computer and keep the story going. So fingers crossed.

Amgen our of California Stage 3

Today will be a relaxing stage and I prepare on staying in the peloton and resting my sore legs. Tomorrow will be another tough stage where I hope to at least stay with the lead group. But right now I need to make sure I don't lose any time.

It wasn't a beautiful stage but at least it wasn't raining. I thought I looked pretty good in yellow but today would be the only day that I could relax in it.

A small breakway got away. The break included Benoit Joachim and Rosseler. The breaks could never work together but they stilled stayed away for a long time.

It was CSC, Credit Agricole, and High Road took control and pulled in the break.

It was thanks to there work that all the BMC boys could sit back and relax. With 10 kilometers left they were finnaly caught.

It was Hushovd that took the win as he barely took the win ahead of Farrar. A good stage for me as I had a chance to rest my legs before the mountains.

Now it will be a while so patience will be needed. I might find time for a stage or 2.

Amgen Tour of California Stage 4

Coming into the stage I had such a small lead that I knew I would need to do a lot of work to stay in the lead. A large breakaway got away early on and stayed away even during the final mountains. I stayed in the peloton with the rest of the team around me protecting me.

i65.photobucket.com/albums/h201/matthew493/Amgen%20Tour%20of%20California/Stage4meinpeloton.png

On the final mountain I was the 1st man to try to get away. I was quickly followed by many other riders.

i65.photobucket.com/albums/h201/matthew493/Amgen%20Tour%20of%20California/Stage4metryingtobreak.png

I helped relay in a group of 13 chasing after the breakaway and some of the other escapees.

i65.photobucket.com/albums/h201/matthew493/Amgen%20Tour%20of%20California/Stage4meingroupof13.png

In the end it was a one two for Telecom as Fedrigo took 1st. Thankfully I had closed down the gap so close that I was still in the lead. There were few people who were better time trialers then me that are in the top 10 so i want to last until stage 6.
