yes they do, and the key word there is "one". A second one is planned.

Hey, they got a full grown Mini-Me as goalie!
Kinda my first impression too. My second impression was "Hey, some of these guys still got all their teeth".
why wouldn't they?
The strange part about this conversation is that a few months from now, I may very well be working in Kuwait (no, I'm not joking, it's about a 20% chance)

If I do go there, tell me and I'll try to get you an autograph. I'm serious

Sweden-Russia had a very nice friendly game yesterday, over 100 minutes penaltie minutes, and also 3 match penalties....oh and russia won 3-2 after a goal with 5,6 sec left
This is for the Swedes: part of THN's 1989 Draft Preview special issue.

to be perfectly honest, considering I don't get the worlds on TV and considering which teams are still in the Stanley Cup playoffs, I'm basically thinking of the draft and nothing else.
And even that one isn't that exciting, considering the top7 picks are 99% sure to fall a certain way...

Being a Detroit fan I'm liking the playoffs this year, only bad thing is not having those swedes in the world champs....and Detroit really has a lot of swedes
I'm thinking (and hoping) they'll win, but I can't be that bothered. Really, I'm reading scout reports on scout reports of players and statements by scouts and GMs of teams (but only from reliable sources) so I can put together an idea of who's drafting who.
In fact, this year is atipical in that 3 different GMs have stated who they'll draft
I like when that happens. Something tells me I'll be glued to the internet stream when the draft comes around

I haven't had time to read for the draft so far, school grades are set next week, so then I will have time for it. Always interesting to see, but no super talent that I have heard of this year.
On the contrary, this year's draft is one of the deepest in a long time. And next year's draft is supposed to be simply the best ever.
As for super talent, this draft has 2 forwards with potential to be superstars, and no less than 4 defensemen who can be #1 defensemen one day. it's that good.
As for a super talent, number 1 will undoubtedly be Steve Stamkos. he's so far ahead of everyone else, that Tampa (drafting first) have already registered www.seenstamkos.com
he'll be their second line center next year. he's that good. He's extremely good offensively and defensively and he's as hard working and professional as they get.
So, there is a super talent all right. you just hadn't heard about him

One of the better I have seen in a long time, and the 2nd period was amazing( Canada won it 4-2 ) game ended 6-5 to Canada, and they deserved it. Proud that we did such a nice game though considering how much better they are on paper.
