at sporza.be (and then 'wielrennen' ) you can watch the final climb
Gesink after the race: "I already passed Cunego and thought, I can get third! But too bad, he passed me again in the final meters. We have a lot of stronger riders for Liege"

Omg. Dekker said he lost contact in every downhill after every climb in the rain because he was afraid to take risks. He had to come back from a group with Stef Clement (who finished far behind) and regained contact at the foot of the Mur de Huy |

And what frickin' imbecile made that decision? I thought there was gonna be a Giro with almost all-Italian teams.
What bullsh*t, f'n Pro Tour. *grumps*

Not standing up for ProTour nor UCI but they had nothing to do with the decision. It was purely RCS and Angelo Zomegan... |

Gadret 10 and Pineau 11. Well, with Pineau's 10th in AGR the French are closer than ever. Only a very small (about 5/10 seconds faster on a hill) step to the top now Yeah, Vaugrenard also said after the race that there are no more teams who're much stronger than the other ones, although the leaders are still there. He only lost about 1' in AGR and 30" yesterday, without being significantly stronger than in the past. |
