I'll be back...
Soon
Can I finally win Tour de France?
Or I already won, but results are incoming?
Maybe I have some riders that finished TdF before my "absence"?
Maybe there are 5 riders? Or even 7?
Will Patrick Konrad (sic!) be Fantasy GC leader for long?
So many questions...
More teasers...

I'll be back...
Hmm, who that rider could possibly be...
Hint: Was in yellow while riding that TT.
9 stages won? Who? From what team?
Hint: That rider won 8(!) stages...
There is also one rider that has won PCM.Daily Favourite Cyclist Contest.
But from what year?
Can I finally win Tour de France?
Seven riders...
Seven different teams...
Big comeback...
This time... I'll finish what I started

So... At least now, I'm back with this. There you have another 7(!) riders that I actually played before break. With the last 2 I needed to play last stage.
In the next update: Michele Scarponi. I'll do a tribute by riding for high GC place.
Enjoy!

I loved playing that Tour .
On some stages it could be better places but what can I do when breakaway have 20 minutes lead just after 40 kilometres? It's hard to catch them. And I don't pay attention for 100%.

Shame for Mollema to lose the jersey on the time trial, meanwhile Valverde is a beast!

DiCyc, yes, it is a shame, but yet still impressive .
As I was saying, a little tribute to Michele Scarponi. But first of all, Cannondale rider:
Tom-Jelte Slagter - Cannondale Pro Cycling Team
GC: 31st +47'26"
1 stage | 2 | | 2 | 2 stage | 2 | | 2 | 3 stage | 7 | | 2 | 4 stage | 4 | | 2 | 5 stage | 16 | | 11 | 6 stage | 3 | | 7 | 7 stage | 26 | | 16 | 8 stage | 39 | | 23 | 9 stage | 32 | | 24 | 10 stage | 6 | | 24 | 11 stage | 3 | | 23 | 12 stage | 37 | | 26 | 13 stage | 121 | | 27 | 14 stage | 4 | | 27 | 15 stage | 34 | | 30 | 16 stage | 19 | | 30 | 17 stage | 40 | | 30 | 18 stage | 121 | | 30 | 19 stage | 40 | | 31 | 20 stage | 40 | | 31 | 21 stage | 2 | | 31 |
Now it's time for Scarponi:
Michele Scarponi - Astana Pro Team
GC: 18th +17'19"
1 stage | 7 | | 7 | 2 stage | 10 | | 7 | 3 stage | 10 | | 7 | 4 stage | 8 | | 8 | 5 stage | 1 | | 3 | 6 stage | 15 | | 3 | 7 stage | 24 | | 12 | 8 stage | 23 | | 18 | 9 stage | 26 | | 19 | 10 stage | 6 | | 19 | 11 stage | 31 | | 19 | 12 stage | 29 | | 20 | 13 stage | 193 | | 23 | 14 stage | 8 | | 22 | 15 stage | 14 | | 19 | 16 stage | 9 | | 19 | 17 stage | 18 | | 17 | 18 stage | 66 | | 20 | 19 stage | 19 | | 20 | 20 stage | 8 | | 18 | 21 stage | 6 | | 18 |
In Fantasy GC (you can see full in first post) as for this moment:
6 | | Michele Scarponi | Astana Pro Team | +1h08'54" | 11 | | Tom-Jelte Slagter | Cannondale Pro Cycling Team | +1h18'53" |
You can guess what next rider will bring to you as it is Diego Ulissi . |

Diego Ulissi - Lampre - Merida
Ehm, yeah...
GC: 1st 78h18'58"
First hilly stage...
Another great win:
3rd at Ventoux? Meintjes 4th?
Yet another great stage:
GC after second week:
Stage 20:
Full GC:

Johan Esteban Chaves - Orica GreenEDGE
GC: 8th +7'18"
On Ventoux stage I had -2 in daily form, so nothing more to add. A lot of time lost there.
On stage 17, I ended stage just after Contador, Froome and Rolland. Breakaway had a lot of riders.
Stage 18 is MTT. I always had troubles with it.
Stage 19 and -1 in daily form. Lost 2 minutes to winner which was Bardet.
Stage 20 was really hard one. Lost another minute to all favourites. But you can see the differences in GC weren't big at the end.
1 stage | 9 | | 9 | 2 stage | 8 | | 9 | 3 stage | 24 | | 10 | 4 stage | 2 | | 9 | 5 stage | 27 | | 6 | 6 stage | 14 | | 6 | 7 stage | 12 | | 6 | 8 stage | 2 | | 3 | 9 stage | 14 | | 3 | 10 stage | 11 | | 3 | 11 stage | 7 | | 3 | 12 stage | 20 | | 4 | 13 stage | 58 | | 5 | 14 stage | 2 | | 4 | 15 stage | 2 | | 4 | 16 stage | 9 | | 4 | 17 stage | 17 | | 3 | 18 stage | 29 | | 3 | 19 stage | 22 | | 6 | 20 stage | 16 | | 8 | 21 stage | 11 | | 8 |
Zakkari Dempster - Bora-Argon 18
GC: 101st +2h41'47"
Mostly simulated. 55 in MO. What could I do? Play full mountain stage?
Stage 3 had big splits in the peleton. Only 40 riders had winner time.
On stage 10 I was second from peloton. Breakaway won.
Stage 14, same situation. Breakaway, but this time I was first from peloton.
1 stage | 1 | | 1 | 2 stage | 112 | | 14 | 3 stage | 73 | | 67 | 4 stage | 72 | | 67 | 5 stage | 176 | | 145 | 6 stage | 3 | | 143 | 7 stage | 182 | | 153 | 8 stage | 101 | | 129 | 9 stage | 108 | | 124 | 10 stage | 6 | | 122 | 11 stage | 2 | | 113 | 12 stage | 83 | | 104 | 13 stage | 198 | | 110 | 14 stage | 5 | | 108 | 15 stage | 92 | | 103 | 16 stage | 180 | | 107 | 17 stage | 68 | | 99 | 18 stage | 182 | | 102 | 19 stage | 74 | | 97 | 20 stage | 98 | | 101 | 21 stage | 2 | | 101 |
"Fantasy" GC looks like this with this 2 riders:
1 | | Alejandro Valverde | Movistar Team | 77h25'13" | 2 | | Patrick Konrad | Bora-Argon 18 | +47'13" | 3 | | Thomas Voeckler | Direct Energie | +53'00" | ... | ... | ... | ... | ... | 5 | | Johan Esteban Chaves | Orica GreenEDGE | +1h00'48" | ... | ... | ... | ... | ... | 62 | | Zakkari Dempster | Bora-Argon 18 | +4h17'03" |

I know it's only professional, but still, for me it's impressive. I'm not great player .
Ulissi, on that DB: 80 MO, 79 HIL, 75 STA, 75 REC. But I would say recovery isn't that important as stamina. Difference between how many we will recover is really low. I would say stamina is more important . |

Nothing special with those 3 riders:
Jan Polanc - Lampre - Merida

Actually, nothing to say here. Almost all simulated. Being left behind mostly on first climb... Hard one to play.
1 stage | 2 | | 2 | 2 stage | 88 | | 78 | 3 stage | 3 | | 76 | 4 stage | 9 | | 71 | 5 stage | 150 | | 131 | 6 stage | 3 | | 131 | 7 stage | 135 | | 131 | 8 stage | 102 | | 117 | 9 stage | 105 | | 118 | 10 stage | 24 | | 118 | 11 stage | 28 | | 109 | 12 stage | 90 | | 104 | 13 stage | 198 | | 110 | 14 stage | 3 | | 109 | 15 stage | 95 | | 105 | 16 stage | 110 | | 104 | 17 stage | 69 | | 95 | 18 stage | 175 | | 100 | 19 stage | 62 | | 94 | 20 stage | 84 | | 93 | 21 stage | 2 | | 93 |
"Fantasy" GC showing results of these 3 riders (72/198):
1 | | Alejandro Valverde | Movistar Team | 77h25'13" | 2 | | Patrick Konrad | Bora-Argon 18 | +47'13" | 3 | | Thomas Voeckler | Direct Energie | +53'00" | ... | ... | ... | ... | ... | 23 | | Simon Geschke | Team Giant - Alpecin | +1h52'47" | ... | ... | ... | ... | ... | 36 | | Jan Polanc | Lampre - Merida | +2h25'00" | ... | ... | ... | ... | ... | 45 | | Ramon Sinkeldam | Team Giant - Alpecin | +2h42'24" |
You know what is funny? That Team Giant - Alpecin already have 7 riders that I played. Only 2 more and first team will be done (yet still no one played from FDJ). Random generator is random.
Also - random generator is random. I'm playing some TdF's before my holiday so I can say that in really near future there will be results from riders like Tony Gallopin, Mathias Frank, Steven Kruijswijk or Romain Bardet...
Can you guess what results will come? |

HUGEEE update!
Tony Gallopin - Lotto Soudal
GC: 7th +10'20"
What a win on stage 5!
Pretty nice ITT:
Stage 17 had big breakaway. 10 riders from 14 were before me at the finish. 6th from favourites is still nice though, +2 in daily form. Lost one place in GC, 1" to Quintana.
On stage 19 -1 in daily form.
1 stage | 2 | | 2 | 2 stage | 1 | | 1 | 3 stage | 3 | | 1 | 4 stage | 1 | | 1 | 5 stage | 1 | | 1 | 6 stage | 1 | | 1 | 7 stage | 2 | | 1 | 8 stage | 10 | | 1 | 9 stage | 30 | | 4 | 10 stage | 2 | | 4 | 11 stage | 3 | | 4 | 12 stage | 21 | | 4 | 13 stage | 10 | | 4 | 14 stage | 4 | | 4 | 15 stage | 6 | | 4 | 16 stage | 3 | | 4 | 17 stage | 16 | | 5 | 18 stage | 53 | | 5 | 19 stage | 27 | | 7 | 20 stage | 12 | | 7 | 21 stage | 6 | | 7 |
Mathias Frank - IAM Cycling
GC: 5th +8'25"
Stage 8 was great. +2 in daily form, big tempo. Frank gain a lot of time. Now, second in GC:
This is how you lose all your momentum. One hard stage and -2 in daily form. There is no way you can have good TT with -2 affecting your performance:
1 stage | 30 | | 30 | 2 stage | 7 | | 10 | 3 stage | 12 | | 9 | 4 stage | 6 | | 7 | 5 stage | 6 | | 7 | 6 stage | 7 | | 7 | 7 stage | 14 | | 9 | 8 stage | 4 | | 2 | 9 stage | 7 | | 4 | 10 stage | 12 | | 4 | 11 stage | 22 | | 4 | 12 stage | 12 | | 5 | 13 stage | 63 | | 5 | 14 stage | 6 | | 5 | 15 stage | 2 | | 4 | 16 stage | 16 | | 4 | 17 stage | 7 | | 4 | 18 stage | 67 | | 5 | 19 stage | 5 | | 5 | 20 stage | 6 | | 5 | 21 stage | 8 | | 5 |
Sam Oomen - Team Giant - Alpecin
GC: 38th +45'52"
I know it isn't about Barguil, but I have to say something here. I f****d some things up. I completely didn't realise that Barguil lost that amount of time on that stage below. I have disabled option that stop the game while something happen, so I didn't realise that Warren had crash. What could I do? I realise it just after I cross the finish line. And then boom! Barguil have 26km to finish...
What a waste of Tour... But for sure? First breakaway:
Second breakaway:
Third breakaway:
Forth breakaway: 20 minutes? 16 minutes?
Fifth breakaway: Another attack. This time on HC climb for mountain points. Somehow Barguil managed the gap and finished second:
Do you remember that Barguil lost 38 minutes on stage 4? This is how GC looks now:
Yet still I was playing with Oomen.

On stage 17 I was only after Quintana, Froome & Bardet. Huge breakaway.
Great win! With that move I got myself to 3rd place.

I believe it was the only such a dominant TdF. Even with Valverde it wasn't that easy. But, I will not say... It was fun .
Never slow down the peloton after you catch the breakaway. Or I will attack:
Why should I not attack on that stage with Bardet? Should I wait until last 500 meters?
+2? +2? Hmm, no need to say more! (there is no +2 in the photo, because I taken that after next stage. If you look previous stages there will always be =0 in the daily form)
Stage 11 - Debusschere blocked me before sprint, no top 10 :/.
On Ventoux there was big breakaway. That's why I was 8th. Before me there was only Froome.
Yeah...
Isn't it too easy? Is it still professional difficulty?
I won all three classifications:
1 stage | 7 | | 7 | 2 stage | 1 | | 1 | 3 stage | 4 | | 1 | 4 stage | 1 | | 1 | 5 stage | 1 | | 1 | 6 stage | 6 | | 1 | 7 stage | 4 | | 1 | 8 stage | 1 | | 1 | 9 stage | 4 | | 1 | 10 stage | 9 | | 1 | 11 stage | 13 | | 1 | 12 stage | 8 | | 1 | 13 stage | 1 | | 1 | 14 stage | 12 | | 1 | 15 stage | 1 | | 1 | 16 stage | 25 | | 1 | 17 stage | 1 | | 1 | 18 stage | 14 | | 1 | 19 stage | 2 | | 1 | 20 stage | 1 | | 1 | 21 stage | 17 | | 1 |
Fantasy GC with riders above:
1 | | Mathias Frank | IAM Cycling | 77h23'37" | ... | ... | ... | ... | ... | 3 | | Steven Kruijswijk | Team LottoNL - Jumbo | +35'42" | 4 | | Romain Bardet | AG2R La Mondiale | +44'57" | ... | ... | ... | ... | ... | 17 | | Tony Gallopin | Lotto Soudal | +1h31'17" | ... | ... | ... | ... | ... | 30 | | Sam Oomen | Team Giant - Alpecin | +2h01'45" |
Now I don't have any TdF going on. If you have any suggestions, give me an info. Also what type of update you prefer? Those above with many photos if a lot is happening or something like in the beginning, that next to my result a little info about the stage.
I'll start another Tour later today. |
