After the team was ineligible to enter the National Championships that meant the end of the season for Vivacom - DataMap. With the off-season now has began it was time to reflect on the season's achievements event though the performance overall was poor. The team announced the rider of the year - Xhuliano Kamberaj. Even though the team was ineligible at the NC's Kamberaj was allowed to be at the Albanian NC's due to the fact that he's a loanee at the team. The youngster clinched both titles which proved enough to be Vivacom's rider of the year.
The team has set as priority to retain him for 2017, but as ivaneurope had said Isostar doesn't wish to sell him. Instead the team is looking to extend the loan deal after his remarkable season. "I'd like to thank Croatia14 for giving us Xhuliano for this season. He was outstanding all year and the NC double proved that. I'm looking forward to see him again."
With the transfer season comming close the team is surely going to be active on the market. "In the free agency we'd bid for riders that we have targeted, but we don't have to go over our allocated budget. IMO 150-200k is our sallary cap per player". The team is set to have 3 sponsors as it was previously announced Argon 18 would increase their involvement in the team by becomming the third main sponsor thus rebranding the team to VMP - Argon 18.
Outside of this "article" I'd like to thank you all for supporting my team throughout the season. Even though I've some doubts that I'd be good manager, I realised that results is not the most important thing here - we all have fun in this MG and for me it was fun to write all these updates about the team which are like a real storytelling.
A lot of buzz have been circulated around the the new jersey that the team would wear for the new MG season. After the name change and revealing new sponsors images leaked about the new jersey which looks like this
As you can see the orange is more dominant than in the previous season. The blue of DataMap is replaced by black. and the red color makes some appearace thanks to Argon 18.
What is more surprising that some logos are omitted - DataMap, Uvex and recently announced technical partner Lenovo are currently omitted and it's unknown whether they'll appear on the jersey or not.

I really enjoy the design of the jersey, for some reason this might be one of the favourite ones I've seen so far for 2017. Great work!
Actually it's krisa's fine work as usual and I have to say the design really stands out
End of partnership with Podium Ambition. Renewals and more.
With the 2017 MG season comming VMP - Argon 18 had some announcements. The first is that it had ended their association with recently promoted team Podium Ambition. There were some speculations that both teams were going to merge and PA's Bulgarian sponsors were spoted in the team's base during Tour of Bulgaria. Those rumours were rebuffed by both managers, but it seemed that the relations have soured from these claims. No one was found for comment on what the reasons are behind the end of partnership.
With Podium Ambition no longer in partnership the team will seek new partners within the team. The lead candidate is Croatia14's Isostar -
Adriatic. VMP had loaed Xhuliano Kamberaj last season and he was named rider of the year, but it's unclear if he'd be loaned again. Ivaneurope said "We're not sure if he'd be availlable for loan this season - this is up to Croatia14 to decide. I can't tell yet, but I will look forward to a partnership between our teams in 2017."
In the meantime the team has renewed the contracts of some of their riders. As the transfer season hasn't begun the management refused to name which riders have re-signed with the team and which were released. "As per rules we're not allowed to name publicly which riders will remain and announce their wages", said ivaneurope.
On the sponsorship front there are some announcements. Lenovo and DataMap will remain technical partners despite not being present on the jersey this season. However there are rumours that Vivacom would end their sponsorship at the end of the season. The team had signed 2 year deal with the telecom when the team was formed. The team will look for alternatives while they try to negotiate with Vivacom for new deal
