Yes issoisso you are right..that is mostly about personality. But waching a premier league, CL or WC we see lot of difference about referee work. Mostly I like premier for that..ofcorse there also some stars using their status...and Premier staring more and more look like CL or WC. But still it is more physical (not dirty..fear fight) and fun to wach.
exactly! the premier league is fun because it's like ping-pong. it never stops...one team attacks...then the other one...then the other one...
that's why I get so frustrated when I see that the english teams in the CL are always content at "parking the team bus in front of the goal" as we say here, and just keep 11 men behind the ball at all times.

Yes in CL english teams looks like kind a frustrated. They afraid to play with he's own play and they looks boring..same story with english national team.
One and only exeption was ManU with his triple year (good job for Ferguson)...all fun football thrue the end. |

i agree with all that has been said, and Man U have been simply fantastic this season, Cristiano Ronaldo has been on the absolute top of his game, this is the only reason i hate the off-season, no football to watch
i agree the Premiership is probably the best league in the world and probably the toughest, it's just great to watch, whereas some Spanish games are so boring with everyone falling all over the place, but then some moments of magic remind me why i follow Spanish football |

curious to see what Brazil can do now that they finally have a great goalkeeper (what's it been? 15 years?)

spanish teams are striking hard on the transfer market over here, as usual.
Atletico's bid of 20 million for Quaresma having been rejected, they came back with 25 million. rejected. same for Liverpool's 20 million.
25 was rejected, yet they think they can get him for 20...go figure.
Valencia came back for Lucho Gonzalez, this time with 20 million. again, Porto rejected.
Real Madrid came back with ANOTHER bid for Porto's Pepe. this time 30 million. accepted. provided he passes a medical, he's a Real player. Barça came in with a late night bid of 28 million. rejected.
also, let's all laugh at Betis Sevilla for wasting 3 million on the worst goalkeeper ever to (dis)grace a football field.

really? didn't know that...poor Schuster...getting himself in the hole at such a disorganized club. it will eventually end with him fired and collecting the whole contract's salary for just a few months work. |

Yes, Schuster was released from his contract yesterday after he paid the release fee himself. Shortly after that, Getafe announced the signing of Laudrup.

I didn't mean that. I meant in the hole at Real Madrid where he is now the new manager. |

Barca have signed Zaragoza captain Gabriel Milito, centre-back
so now we are starting to recruit defenders, next season could be a very good season indeed |

Iniesta has just claimed the number 8 Barca shirt and has denied completley that he is leaving, and pledged that he wants to spend his whole career at Barca
so i'm not too sure he'll go
althought 60 million euros is waaaaaayy too much for him anyway (even though he is one of my favourites, he isn't that good)
