Yes, for example if your game was Pro Cyclist_3 there would be
Pro Cyclist_3.cdb
Pro Cyclist_3.cdb~
Pro Cyclist_3
Just take out the space of all 3. Then you can edit it in Lachi's editor. I haven't checked to see if editing affects the original save, but it affects the new one and it doesn't but it (only done stat/stat limits though). It's safe to run both but when checking in cloud the original isn't there (as it has been renamed). I actually haven't tested to see if original will still save somewhere yet. They appear with different names in-game, the original has a space, the editable, new one has no space

I have tried it with another DB for Be a cyclist the problem is the FDB Realname DB NOT Lachi's perfect editor |

servus: Can you please send me the database. If there is an error in the database, I can find it.
BTW: The fast editor works differently then my editors and the official editors. You can use that editor if there are errors in the database. |

I don't think there is an error in that DB, I can open it just fine.
But you could upload the database which is causing the error you posted on the previous page of this thread. |

Hi. Having problem with the editor, when try to select a table after it finnished the extraction, it just freezes. cant even close the program. ive tried to run the editor as administrator, and with diffrente compatible modes on windows.
any guesses on where the problem lays ? |

Seems like the editor doesn't work with PCM expansion save files for some reason (I can open the expansion DB file in the editor, just not save files).
The error message when trying to extract safe game cdb:
Ungültiges Zeichen in der angegebenen Codierung. Zeile 688988, Position 23.
Forgot to code a special character for xml? The weird part is, that any other save game works fine.
EDIT: Oh, I am using v25
EDIT2: getting the exact same error with cyanides full editor.

There seems to be an bug in the game which messes up the save.
Servus experienced the same problem starting with another database. In his case the problem is in the table DYN_track_cyclist. Maybe you could upload your save so that I can have a look.
Because the full editor does not work either, you should contact Cyanide, sending them your save. Or post it here: https://pcmdaily.c...d_id=40325
As far as I know, there is only one editor which can cope with these kind of errors: https://pcmdaily.c...hp?did=808
Edit: I am not sure why the database creators change the track cyclists anyway?

It worked for me. I opened the save-file with pcm fast editor, changed all unusual (scandinavian, german / you can keep the french/spanish accents ) special characters in dyn_track_cyclists to something that doesn't require a special unicode-set (eg "ordinary letters" ). Seems to me that the cyanide xml-converter does not support all of unicode for some of the databases for some reason.
